  • We spent a month in Oaxaca, the culinary capital of Mexico. Our expectations were all centered around food. Mole, mezcal, tlayudas, etc. Thanks to a bit of serendipity and the kindness of locals, we learned about the people, their history, their culture, and what they’re doing to preserve the traditions they value most.
Wherever you end up in your travels, we hope your culinary / gastronomic adventures are accompanied by the stories of the people behind each plate.

My wife and I are moving to Oaxaca in two weeks. Needless to say, we have watched every video on TH-cam about this amazingly beautiful and historic area, and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best. I enjoyed the quality, honesty, and respect you embody for these 14 minutes and appreciate you making such good content to watch

This is real people, hard work people not so much wealthness but so much heart and empathy. Mexico is a nation of nation, culture of cultures and its treasure is the people.

Just found this. I lived in Mexico City when I was 20, and now I am living in Oaxaca -with almost no visits to Mexico in between. Life was busy -but here I am now. Every single day I find more magic, more warmth, more sacred meaning in this magical city. You did a beautiful job of showing how special it is, I enjoyed every minute. ❤️❤️

what a treat to watch a video by some people who are in touch with the people and history of their locale instead of these typical millennials creating insipid videos with absolutely no insight into where they are traveling to. You guys are great
