I lived in oaxaca for a couple years but México city has the best food because we have a little bit of everything , oaxaqueños don't know how to make tacos, they should stick to theirs tlayudas etc.
Thats not true, generally Mexicans don't think that the best food comes from Oaxaca. The most popular Mexican food abroad is Comida Norteña along with Tacos which are national. Within Mexico, Puebla is considered the heart of high Mexican cuisine and the most representative and popular within Mexico. Mole and Chiles en Nogada are from Puebla and Mexicans love it! Ordinary Mexicans dont know much about Oaxaca other than that it is a state with a lot of indigenous groups with unique folk art. I am not saying their food is bad, is just that the statement that all mexicans think oaxacan food is the best does not hold as true. Finally real Mexican food can be found in all of Mexico, not just in one state.
I want to add that insects are not part of the normal diet of all of Mexico, only some indigenous ethnic groups in some states. It is not something that is on the usual shopping list of a Mexican... it is more for tourists.

Sorry I misspoke 🤷🏻♂️ sometimes we don’t receive all the information but we try to give a good idea of what the food is like. Every Latin American country we’ve been to has had tortillas as a staple. I was once offered tortillas with my spaghetti.
Thanks for watching!
peruvian food👉 the best ❗❗❗
Peruvian food is also delicious 🤤
All good food comes from Mexico in general, everyone has their own seasoning and way of crafting their dish.
That’s very true! Part of the fun of travelling to different areas is tasting the different styles of the same dishes!
The best food ?? I totally disagree , youtubers all go there but it doesn't mean that's the best food , I would visit more cities before I called it the best
@@jtjtrs8806 well we spent 6 months travelling around Mexico so this is based on our own experience, not other TH-camrs. And we’d say overall Oaxaca and Mexico City had the best food! But there were certain dishes we loved more in other places.
Why do they play Spanish music in the videos about Mexico? It has been more than 200 years since Mexico is no longer part of Spain.
????
Because that fit well in the video, but for us Mexicans there's no problem.
Still, much of the evolution of our gastronomy comes from the combination of the ancient Spanish culture and of the Mexican indigenous peoples, so...
Because we only has so many options for copyright free music for TH-cam so we can’t always be super picky as long as it fits the video vibes! Same when we make videos in Canada… we use English music from all over the world, not just Canada 😊
I don’t agree with Oaxaca has the best food. Veracruz, Campeche, Yucatán, Sinaloa, Jalisco and even Mexico City have better things.
POR QUE SIEMPRE LOS LLEVAN A COMER LO MISMO, SIEMPRE QUESADILLAS, MEMELAS EMPANADAS ...HNAIENDONMAS COMIDAS QUE PUEDEN DESCUBRIR..COMO LA SEGUESA, LOS HIGADITOS, EL AMARILLO, EL VERDE, EL ESTOFADO, ETC ...SE VAN CON LA IDEA QUE LAS TORTILLA RELLENA DE ALGO ES TODO LO QUE HAY
