Am I the only one who noticed how St. Louis entered the yard, all running and jumping. Until she walked up to Lee..and this sense of calm just seemed to settle on her, like 'Oh, there you are. It's about time!' It didn't last long because, well...dog, but it definitely was there. People talk about seeing a sense of peace washing over a being, but that was the first time I've ever seen it in reality. Lee Asher, you are one of my heroes!

I'm sure Lee Asher is a very busy young man. I doubt he has the time to do that. There is just so much going on at the sanctuary. He has to watch EVERYTHING, especially the people coming to work for him.

I cried too! I cry almost everytime!! As soon as Lee says..."You're safe!" I literally am reduced to tears. I wish they all could be saved 🙏
The barking & crying of the other dogs inside the shelter is hard to listen, as if they’re begging to be adopted & they could sense that there’s adoptions going on 😢If Lee could take them all I know he would 😢😞❤️

I'm glad that Lee is taking those clearly human-bonded dogs who otherwise are overseen at shelters. All of them look well-behaved, so other than costs or lack of time/ space it's difficult to understand why those dogs have difficulties in finding new owners. Thank you, Lee & Team ❤
Unfortunately black dogs and cats are the last to be adopted across the board. So that's one reason.
Even costs and lack of time doesn't make sense because you shouldn't be trying to get an animal anyway if you're not willing to spend those two things on them 😢
