I glad I stuck around to the end... the qav-s mini seems to have a great view with the 03 unit (camera). I have my 03 unit just waiting for my qav-s mini.

Are you able to try them on first to see how they fit on you? They fit well on a smaller number of face shapes. For me, I have blurriness in the edges of the display, do not bother me while flying but something to note before you spend all this money on the goggles. What is the range and latency you get when using dji controller and o3 air unit ? I was thinking of puchasing an ELRS system but I guess I won't need it if I already have the dji controller with me.
Stay tuned for a video but I am changing over from the DJI Controller 2 to a Crossfire setup. With the exception of the one time it failsafed (unexplained) I haven't had any range or signal problems with the Controller 2.
Do you have a video where you bind this all up after finishing the build.

Nice, is if possible to connect this to a secondary non-FPV screen? As with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro
You can connect the goggles to your phone and get a live view through the DJI Fly app.

Hey can you plsss make a video on how to set the modes on the dji controller, I just got a bnf drone with the new air unit and I don't know if it needs any configuration. If so it would be really nice if you made a video on it and would help other people getting into real fpv from there dji fpv drone
I was a dji fpv drone user until I seen that the o3 works with the controller so im sure many are going to wanna get a real fpv drone, but I think I found out that the controller needs to be configured or something like that for it to start flying
Hey. Are you comfortable with connecting your drone to Betaflight and looking up the configuration? I'd be happy to help you one-on-one if you email me. There are a lot of setup videos already from channels such as Joshua Bardwell.
@Mangorille I will go ahead and check that out, I just binded the controller and goggles and it seems the controller does turn the motors on and off so I'm gonna try to enable the GPS on beta flight and go from there, thank you tho I'll definitely let you know if I need help setting up the controller if I have too
You can also fly ur quad just using air unit as a receiver right???
Yes, if you get the DJI remote controller 2 (link in video description) it connects directly to the air unit without a separate receiver.
can you use the goggles v2 with the controller 2 and the 03 air unit??

@@Mangorille Mate i tried that and i couldnt figure out in betaflight it wouldnt show up.. the controller 2.. is that normal ?
So i couldnt bind the ARM switch etc and in menu wouldnt let me

I heard, that is a long time to wait especially with winter around the corner for most of us! What price did you pre-order at? If it was 649 can you just order from DJI directly? Mine arrived in 4 days from DJI.

DJI is funny with shipping or pre-orders. I order my Avata with DJI store and got before some dealers. I order my 03 unit with them and the dealers got them first this time around. I hear for people that just want the goggles 2 and 03 units you'll looking at the end of December....who is laughing now with the Avata and goggles 2!?! 😄😆

Goggles V2 or Goggles 2? The Goggles 2 has a smaller sweet spot so you need a face that is shaped the way DJI expected (i.e. more flat than round)
