Side note: nature should _never_ have that much noise like the loudness at the summit. I go to nature to not hear humans. I never heard a ruckus the times I was there (took the Cog). ❤
So I'm guessing the way you went was pretty quick it took us about 6 hours and weather was beautiful then horrible 80+ winds heavy rains we took The Ammonoosuc Ravine trail to up hut in the clouds then straight to the summit it was a amazing experience . Good job gents

Hi … would like to hike this year … any suggestions of which time of the year is best to do the hiking ? Also what do you suggest we carry ? Any other advice you have is greatly appreciated
I prefer July and August for Mount Washington. Carry lots of water and some extra layers of clothing, the weather on this mountain is somewhat unpredictable, it can start raining or get really windy at any time...
On this day, we had arrived mid morning and the lot was almost FULL. when we got back to the car it was apparent that the lot had completely filled up and cars had started to line the streets. There is a limit to how many cars fit in the lot, but they weren't stopping people from just walking down the road a but.

There is a few exposed spots on this trail, but it's still very manageable compared to some of the other ways up, like the Huntington Ravine trail.
