    I just found this video and sent it to a buddy of mine who climbed this exact route up and down, with me, over 60 year ago. We don't recall it being as difficult as it now looks but we were teens back then.
    Thanks for posting. Great coverage! ..too bad it was cloudy

      @stevefletcher52 that's awesome to hear. This hike is definitely a tough one!
      The weather changed drastically a few times while we were out there, it went from t shirt weather to hail within a few hours.

    Awesome!!. Very well captured as well Chris. Thanks for taking the effort to document. I was curious what the vertical section was like and your video captured it perfectly.👍

      Thanks! We've since been back and tackled the Huntington Ravine trail as well. That made for a great video.

    Your father in law did Amazing!! That was wonderful to watch, thank you for documenting. We'll be hiking Mt. Washington in July (2021) and that was a great video for what to expect!

      Thank you, he is one tough guy, he recently out lasted me on a 50 mile hike we attempted! The lions Head trail is a great one, I went back again and did the Huntington Ravine a few months after, that was a scary one lol.

    Hoping to come down from Canada, which campsite do you recommend?

    • @ChrisGranata
      @ChrisGranata  ปีที่แล้ว

      The campground we stayed at was nice.
      Green meadows campground in Glenn NH. There are other options around too.
      We had about a 25 minute drive to the trailhead in the morning.

    Im headed up monday. I have NO climbing experience. Ive done a ton of hikeing. Would you suggest the Lions head trail? And wich would you suggest going down?

    • @ChrisGranata
      @ChrisGranata  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lions head is a great trail. I highly recommend it! Take Tuckermans ravine down for a different view and slightly easier decent.
