Great video. However, you should have had a bar above the car to spread the strap. So no damage would have happened to the fenders. Other than that, love the video.
Yep, a spreader bar would have solved all the problems. It would be cool to see them build a Diesel Brothers version of the European recovery crane flatbed.
Having one of you as a neighbor turns out to be pretty handy. I am so impressed with the business you’ve built and fascinated by your knowledge and your collection of cool. “toys”
Not sure where the comment went about "helping out the rich" but, i did see the reply "would you only help out people if they were poor?". Awesome reply, These guys help out anyone and everyone. Go hate somewhere else. Great job guys!
that went amazingly smooth for the awkward position it was in nearly vertical and it came up and out with no more damage and it is totally fixable, great job done once again by the HeavyDSparks B.T.S. TEAM 💯
@@littlebigkicker It clearly shows They Do NOT Know what they are doing and You Clearly don't know anything about towing or rigging. Please Stop being rude.
That Elk call hit me hard! Havnt laughed that hard watching a YT video in a long time! Coming from a guy living in Northern Alberta hunting every year that Boom squeel/Elk call totally made my day 😂 Thanks to the editor for that one! 👌 On another note, kudos to the owner for buying pizzas for the whole crew! Small gestures like this goes a long way and it tells a lot on the people! 👍✌
Give these editors a raise! All the guys saying bad shit about the sound effects and stuff are old grumpy men who just want to see cars or something. THIS is a TH-cam video how it should be done! 👏👏👏
I like how obvious it is that yall care about your content and what you deliver to your viewers, but please chill on the visual effects. More machinery/montages, less sudden loud noises or camera pans. Since I'm sure this audience is more than 60% adult, just chill out a bit. We appreciate the work of recoveries yall do more than the editing.
Don’t worry about this guy lol haha if you have watched all of the brothers videos for the past 14 years you would know it’s all inside jokes & FUNNY. we love it!
Almost too easy! Pizza was a nice touch!!! If a lesser vehicle was used, not sure the car would look as good as it does now, so right tool for the job!!!
Okay, Dave and the crew keep up the good videos. I watched them here in Pennsylvania all the time. Be safe and God bless to all views and your families Ken from Pennsylvania.
Really no spreader bar. Y'all get a D-... I wonder what the insurance company will say when they see this video. Should have hired a true tow company with the correct rigging.
Why not do it properly and use a spreader beam? They knew the basic job before driving there. If they didn't have one, they could rent / borrow / buy one Also, how does that guy not know what a master link is?! Do these people have to be certified in america?
I'm kind of curious with all the recoveries that you've done why is none of the trucks equipped with spreader bars, completely body damage free what's of course using straps
lotta old grumps is this comment section hating the editing. made the video fun but maybe turn it down like 15% for the curmudgeons. Loved it! Keep your heads held high champions
You guys should make some adjustable spreader bars for situations like this. May be able to save a few more quarter panels haha! There's a point where it doesn't matter damaage wise haha. But could be helpful in ither situations. Charge em out for the use and it'll pay for itself!
@heavydsparks I like your content very mutch I life in the Netherlands that is in Europe, but on your main channel please make longer recovery,'s epesodes again I liked it more that we saw more details and longer content but thank you for Al the great content and Al your hard work wen diesel brothers stopt on discovery I was a little sad but than I start watching your main channel on you tube and it was great, I liked the episodes with the California blizzerd so great work you did thare and the first episodes with robby Layton with the stuck telehandler very interesting Thank you and keep the up the good work Greets Dennis Thies
This is the first video I've watched from this channel, which I was aware of through Matt's Off-Road Recovery, but the ridiculously OTT edit has put me right off watching any more. 😵💫
The editor got a little carried away with the skip and sound effects on this one imo.
Bro was high asf editing for sure
Yeahhh for as much effort the editor took on this one this video is hard to watch…. Respect the hustle but 🫣
Literally tired of that shit after 45 seconds
Okay 👌
Good

Agreed although it’s probably totalled anyway looking at the damage on the rear end.
Plus its only a honda nobody cares about hondas
@@shaundassler2422 Type-R tho
these editors are something else.....
wayyyy to much....
cant even finish it tbh...
❤❤❤
Why not use a spread bar to avoid destroying the front fenders lol
this was my exact thought.
They probably don't have one, or two. 😂
or even some 4x4s at the tire to hold strap away.
I can’t believe with all the stuff and things he’s done he does not have a spreader bar would have been zero damage done
@@clinttrost5743 who cares the cars already damaged
The knee cracking sound effect when Diesel Dave jumped off the wall 😂 5:06
Glad you like that!
🤣 I felt it lol
Having one of you as a neighbor turns out to be pretty handy. I am so impressed with the business you’ve built and fascinated by your knowledge and your collection of cool. “toys”
Definitely needed a spreader bar to stop the slings pulling in and damaging the car.
Imagine giving a teenager a Civic Type R and being surprised that they damaged it.
yep...kids never have to work for anything anymore.
Spreader bars would’ve worked wonders
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that
Another cool save!!! Would a heavy steel spreader bar keep the lift ropes from damaging the sides of the body??
Not sure where the comment went about "helping out the rich" but, i did see the reply "would you only help out people if they were poor?". Awesome reply, These guys help out anyone and everyone. Go hate somewhere else. Great job guys!
Whoever commented that must have missed the part where it's Dave's NEIGHBOR lol
nice! Its cool to see it from this perspective after watching it on Alan's channel.
Glad you enjoyed it!
i cant get over the sound effects in your videos, i absolutely love them
that went amazingly smooth for the awkward position it was in nearly vertical and it came up and out with no more damage and it is totally fixable, great job done once again by the HeavyDSparks B.T.S. TEAM 💯
Dave Sparks needs to get with Murphy's Diesel on the big Rotator for some heavy duty rigging experience.
Hansey, see if you can arrange that.
Thanks.
I think they know what they are doing stop being rude

Since you asked the shoe squishy noise was weird and the pizza crunch odd, but i love your guys shows ! Great rescue and entertainment! ❤
Absolutely so funny! I love this episode. Whoever does your edits is a genius!
Why did you put metall hooks on the rim knstead of feeding the soft rope through?😅
Great recovery. I love the type r . I got a 2019
Why didn’t they ever make a rotator for the U.S. Military? Definitely need a spreader bar for lifts like that though!
They do it’s made by miller but n Knoxville tn.
@@stephenbrown571 Thanks!
I’ve just never seen one. Are they 50, 75 or 100 ton rotators? Do you know if they have them on the HET platform?
Awesome recovery. Slicker than a whistle
the editing is Hilarious keep this editor going on what ever he's doing
You guys could have done that recovery cleaner
2017 Type R civic 😮😮 i had the same one same color

I didn’t even know this channel existed!! I’m so glad I found it!
Hard lesson to learn when you have a manual drive car. I've not engaged the parking break a couple of times and come out and go "Where's my car?"
I’m waiting for their recovery truck to transform into Autobots!!!! LOL!!!!!
Editors went crazy 😂 I didn't mind it tho, was a little funny. The car tho that was sad to see. Nice car

@1:42 if you didn’t tell me this was a different channel I wouldn’t have realized it. So I subscribed now, thanks for telling me.
I have seen a few recoveries like this. Always cool to watch.
You guys make everything look so easy. Great job Guys 🤙
Should’ve used a spread bar to avoid damaging that front end.
Who let the editor out on this video?!
Almost too easy! Pizza was a nice touch!!! If a lesser vehicle was used, not sure the car would look as good as it does now, so right tool for the job!!!
Awesome video guys! That wrecker needs some love with Whelem Core like you put on your black cab over.
Love your recoveries I should've said hi while I was stuck in bountiful Utah I've learned a lot
Time to build a extendable spreader bar. Would have added less damage.
Not bad. Could the front wings have been spared the extra damage?
0:52 imagine dave in the background lookin so serious!🤣😂
The joker face from Maximum Overdrive would be awesome on the wrecker.
Any recovery performed by Heavy D could seriously damage the vehicle. Hell he could damage a vehicle that’s just driving by recovery.
I liked that there was more of the rigging discussion.
I could listen to that 2 stroke Detroit Diesel all day long!!!!!!!!!!! 8V92??
That gate post is magnificent Bravo, my friend Bravo

Song by Finch, Leony, and VIZE
now additionally he needs 2 new doors and 2 new fenders.
not the best job they have done
I'm kind of curious with all the recoveries that you've done why is none of the trucks equipped with spreader bars, completely body damage free what's of course using straps
I would use a pipe or a 2x2in bar to keep the 4 lines spaced, so it would not squeeze the car on its sides...
Excellent work done guys👌
Looks like half the neighborhood came out to watch and see the shak truck in action.
