@@lavatr8322 as for me, just bought a Baseus M2s, and testing it out now....the sound is ok, nothing amazing, setting up an account on the app took a while, ended up having to create the account on the website, only then logged on in the app ...the touch controls on the earphone don't always work the first time ....let's see if I can get used to it....
hello, Picky! love your reviews, prolly especially bc u keep letting us know u are a bass head, as i am. on the go i used to listen to some wired sony extra bass model: keeping that in mind, could you please let me know which of the Soundpeats model would you recommend, if I'm firstly looking for bass, but would also like to have an all around quality sound? I'm asking because while listening most of your Soundpeats reviews, apparently all of the models have at least decent bass. regarding your recommendation which i hope you will give me, let's presume the price is not important and take into consideration i don't really need ANC and that I'm a traveling guy so i would like ones that stay in my ears as snug as possible. cheers and keep up the great work
I have looking for a new earbuds for more than week, but i am stuck between the soundpeats sonic and soundpeats engine 4 , the two have the same price in my country so i want help to choose between them what is your opinion Picky.
I am really between the clear, the mini and the free 2 classic. I realised the advantage of min on the free 2 is the mic and what about the clear? Is the clear mic like the mini, because if its, I might do for the clear.
I have the Air 4 Pro and I really like the sound of them I run them in Aptx Adaptive to listen to music and then put them in AAC for everything else. Battery life has been pretty good. Thanks for the rundown much appreciated. 💯👍🇺🇸

Been using soundpeats for couple of years now.
Probably will upgrade the one i'm currenrly using (mini pro) with air4 pro or opera5.
Engine 4 is really promising, but the no ANC is a deal breaker for me.

for the same price, im interested in edifier 240tn compare to air 4 pro. Which one got the better sound quality? I do know that edifier customization is pretty bad but its not my concern.
(Sadly, the air 4 pro have pretty short battery life which could be a deallbreaker for me)

Air4 Pro sound better. It's not a massive difference though. Check out my Air4 Pro review I compare the sound to plenty of similarly priced earbuds

They're up their in terms of sound. Not far off the engine 4. I just kept it to the newer earbuds

Are there soundpeats with physical buttons?
Did a good amount of research into getting my first pair of ear buds and after much debate I landed on the SoundPEATS Engine 4's. For $55 after tax, it seems I made the right decision. They sound amazing. I only have a Logitech 935's gaming headset to compare it to but as far as the sound goes they don't compare really. Music is off the charts louder with more bass and better sound quality all around with the Engine 4's. I haven't compared gaming but I imagine it will be the other way around being they don't have the same surround sound and latency capabilities as the Logi's. As soon as I get a BT adapter for my computer I'll be testing the E4's out.
I always keep my Engine 4s close by for when im feeling frisky and want to keep it simple.
I remember, The soundpeats H1's days are what got me into the whole earbud world. I would ask you to compare everything to those bass cannons. (Yeah I been following you for years but Im always switching accounts so you probably don't know). But yeah, Now the Engine 4s are like the leading predecessor.
I feel like if soundpeats would get there transparency mode on par with the airpods they would be unstoppable. Til then they still the one of the best overall quality sounding buds in the game. For $36 dollars you can't beat it!!!

@@s3rgiulicu Very close. The bass just tighter and not as loose. The main thing with Engine 4s, it's like they were tuned to sound great with any Genre music. They honestly sound better than a lot of $200 plus earbuds I have. They focused on pure sound on these buds and that's what you get no features at all just Great sounding earbuds
I'm currently rocking some wired sony which have a thumping bass and i was afraid i was going to lose that deep bumps because all of my friends' tws i gave a listen to lacked badly in that department. i also asked Picky what would he recommend but i guess Engine4 seems like thr way of the bass samurai^^ thanks for your reply, much appreciated
Totally agree with the bass comparison. Engine4 is tighter, but gets practically at 95% of the rumble after custom EQ. And the sound overall is smoother. Just got the engine4, and compared them to the H1 and Sony 1000xm5. Engine4 sound wise is same as the Sony. H1 a bit harsher. The real plus of the engine4 is that it keeps the EQ throughout the volume range. H1 have been EQ'd to around 80%, above that it gets a bit harsh, below that lacks treble. For 30eur just 10/10.

Some other account named Corn Dawg keeps commenting on other Engine 4 reviews warning people not to trust these random TH-camrs as they're probably being paid; and that the Engine 4's were their worst decision ever as they were too chunky and the sound quality wasn't even that great.

A question for you or any of your viewers - Does it matter if a headphone is a version of Bluetooth higher than the source? E.g. if bud is 5.3 but the player (phone) is 4.1? Do you get the benefits of the new BT version on the buds still?

for sound, the soundpeats air3 deluxe hs are better, I enjoy listening music with them, the only thing is that they’re open so they lack of noise cancellation so I only use them at home, the moondrop space travel are so good for the price, good sound, noise cancellation and a unique design
The SoundPeats True Air 2 was the best I've ever had, I bought the Air 3 and Air 4 and they were left aside because they have some sound problems - the Air has problems with the bass and mids because of its small size (downsize of a product generally results in quality losses). The Air 4 has the problem of a lack of balance between bass and midrange, also having reduced quality in the microphone (just like the Air 3). The True Air 2 still wins for balance, having a better microphone and was well equalized.
Really helpful. I'm considering the Gofree 2. I have a lot of issues with ear pain and can't tolerate anything inside my ear, but am really over having my phone on speaker and stumbled across them and thought they might be great. A question about the noise cancellation. If I was on a call where I was making a lot of noise, is there a way to customise the settings if it cuts me out? Like can I train it to not cut certain sounds or is it just preset and you get what you get?
Have you tried full over ear headphones instead of earphones? They’re obviously much bigger as they go over your head but plenty of people choose them over earphones as they reduce ear fatigue, and the quality you can get from some even at budget price ranges are really good
@@doofusboy7054 yes I have a couple of pairs. I love them. They saved my sanity as I waited 7 months longer than I had expected before I could move to the country (I moved 2 weeks ago). They’re not practical for every situation though. I can’t wear them to have some music and be able to take a call when driving. If I lay back with them on they slip. If I’m working in the garden and bending down they slip the other way. So I figured the earphones might fill the gap so I have something suitable for every situation.
I did buy a pair. I plugged them in and there was no LED light on the case, but I hoped it was just an issue with the light and they would still function. I listened to some music and had a call with them when I was laying down and they were fantastic, but after that call I put them back in the case to charge and they didn’t charge. So the case was faulty. I organised a return and sent them back today, and have ordered another pair. Fingers crossed the next ones charge.
I was so stoked with the call in particular. It sounded like my friend was right next to me. I didn’t have to ask him to repeat himself anywhere near as much as I do on speaker. And he said I sounded good too. But they were also really comfortable. Even with glasses on and laying down. I even tried laying in different positions and they were comfortable no matter what. So I’m excited to get the next pair so I can really utilise them. Where I live now there’s no reception for radio stations in the car so these will give me music for the half hour near home but I’ll still be able to hear my surroundings. My car does have Bluetooth, but the volume with it is really low, and Bluetooth prior to 5.3 gives me headaches so I avoid using it. These will be a good solution 😊
Which do you think has the deepest bass?
I just bought the clears and I can't believe how good and balanced they sound for the price !!. I am happy I did not spend 80€ or 100€, because these really tick all the boxes !!. And I am a musician and to me these sound really balanced..... I really run away whenever I see the "xtra bass" tag, because I know what that means (all bass , no treble and nasal mids). I am puzzled as to how such a cheap pair of earbuds can sound SO well !!

I bought both Soundpeats Classic and Engine 4 after watching your videos.
The Engine 4 left bud accidentally got included in the wash. Other than issues with the bud pausing or stopping videos and audios - its still working fine IMO 😅

Gor the engine 4 , sound is very quiet even after doing everything possible in the app to improve it , also right bud just lost most of the sound , to me the experience is bad with these , also they keep popping out the ear due to their weight , very disappointed . Going to try air3 might be a better fit.

I'm yet to test the AZ80 but they seem to have amazing sound. Elite 10 are great overall as well. Either pair you're good

I guess the T2 were too good so they had to discontinue them of course. Everything else they offer now that that price either has much worse battery life or no ANC

I bought engine 4 after one week the treble driver from right earbud stop working which reduces the sound to 50% less as comared to left earbud 😢

Engine 4 doesn't have ANC so the HT05 is the better option
