I just picked up the psier anc in ear buds for around 17 bucks on sale, and they're surprisingly good. Anc and transparency modes are better than some premium buds. Sounds great. Controls are a little clunky but I got used to them pretty quick and thirty hours total playtime.
So glad you mentioned the bass reducer preset. Recently got the SoundCore Liberty 4 NC and it definitely helps the sound quality!
Thank you for this wonderful review! I currently own Soundcore A20i and i love it!
After watching this Video and using the QCY T13 for nearly a Month I gotta say top top review. They are really good earbuds, they are not the most comfortable earbuds in bed and the case isnt made out of the best quality but for the price they are amazing
The hardest thing is that I can't try before buying
You can. Amazon prime - you always have 30 days to send it back without any cost. I test like that sooooo many things :D
@@Ulthionyeah but that’s a lot of work having to drive to a ups store to send it back every time.
@@anthonyromich1682I have a whole foods near my house I return the items there. See if you have one close by
One of the best reviews and very useful. don't comment often but this video is great thanks!!
forget the earbuds YOU BENCH 220+ FOR REPS???
It’s fake weights I sold it to him, that’s why he used so little weight on squats coz he didn’t buy any more fake weights from me
By fair the best video ranking some budget earbuds I could find! Definetley subbing after watching this
W review, literally straight to the point, super helpful with the video chapters too
This was amazing and fun! Thank you for the informative video! I have a question tho; have you done a review on the Sony earbuds precisely the “WF-C700”?
Brilliant review and video. Thanks. I also loved the spreadsheet you added. These are the first earbuds that I will have ever used and wanted a cheap set to try at the gym and for running. Having the spreadsheet let me easily calculate the best ones for my preferences. I was lucky and found a pair of Soundpeats Free2 on Amazon Australia for under $30 so am looking forward to getting them and trying them out in the gym. Thanks again.
Thanks for this. Might switch to the A20i this week. My Vention Elf E01 is not up to snuff anymore. Its also the cheapest in our country at only around $10, and that is from the soundcore official store.
EDIT: Lol ended up getting the QCY T13 instead. Its ridicuoulsy loud and bassy when in default but set it to soft and its perfect for all music choices. I still need to learn how to blend the EQ to find something more to my needs. I'm just glad we have an EQ option with it to begin with.
your video is very much detailed and in proper order. Thanks man
Really nice video. Thanks for doing.
Eyeing the T13 as my next purchase, thx!
Thanks for the video brother ❤
Incredibly informative. Thanks.
Great video! appreciate it
Any chance you start adding KZs? they are cheap and their sound quality is amazingly crazy
which would you recommend to use for sleeping on side comfort wise?
Hello @pickyaudio. I'm having a hard time picking between the Soundcore A20i and Soundpeats Free2 Classic. Any tips you can give me so I can choose the better earbuds. I'm pretty much into the sound quality and not into the overall features. Thanks.
Fantastic comparisons! I have the A20i and enjoy their audio (after changing the EQ), app and fit. Been seriously curious about the QCY T13 so thanks for including them (stem is not my fave style but these may be worth trying). Thanks!!
Late reply: They do not. According to what I've gleaned from other reviews, they sometimes have trouble switching connections to Android after being paired to an IOS device. Apparently, it has something to do with pairing to the app.
This is a GREAT and THOROUGH review !!!
I am a musician and this guy is dead on with his reviews. I bought the QCY T13’s and am super stoked on them !! Thanks brother for doing all the work for us ! Your assessment was dead on for the ones i bought. THANK YOU !!!!
Which is better for workout, running and for calling? Thank you! 🙏
thank you so much for this video. You deserve the best of the world!
Great video! I'm using my Galaxy buds 2 Pro.. loving them.. I still have my Soundpeats H1s though.. best sound.. waiting for the Soundpeats Wings 2 to be available in my part of the world.. for the gym etc. 😊
Great review man. Thank you
Thanks mate. You made my choice easy!
Soundpeats 4 and 4 lite are on the market. Waiting for your review from Spain
Thank you so much
You are the greatest
I just bought the a20i's and I love them so far. I really like how the app and the earbuds have a "find my device" function. Super handy and amazing inclusion for the price. Not sure if the others have that.
Currently im using Eggel Quitebuds Neo, and its already have anc and enc features, really happy about it, i only got that buds for 18.99
Hi great comparison. I found it hard to keep track of the names & the physical product, I was hoping that you would have especially in the final score displayed both the name & the product image together just to help associative memory.
Hey can i ask if QCY MeloBuds and Moondrop Space Travel added, which it will be ranked?
Hey mate, what do you think of the Jabra Elite 5 (or can you recommend other quality build) that is IP67-IP68, excellent sound - preference for trance and pop music (not into metal), voice quality and very good ANC are priorities (7hrs min talk on buds also) please under $200AUD??
You are the goat of comparison/ review videos. Thanks man seriously
The free2classic classic are amazing earbuds. I've been using them as my daily main earbuds for months and other than some left/right desyncing on windows they're basically perfect.
Btw if they desync you can either stick one side back in the case, or send a pause and play.
Lo que necesitaba, muchas gracias
I haven't been able to get my hands on another pair of Dudios for years, and they're the best bidget buds I've EVER owned. I havent found anything that has compared unfortunately so here i am...i have the jlab airpop ones now, and have for a bit over a year now and I'm not a huge fan, they're good but not huge on them (mostly because battery and the falling out but also the uncomfortable fit..even with the smallest tips)
Can we get a catagory on how fast the filter pops out after use? Thats seriously needed info.
good budget video! you helped me decide to buy the a20i's since my airpods took a shit on me lol
Thank you for another excellent comparison, Picky! 👍
Still have my soundpeats T2 for like 2yrs(lost one bud) but still works fine I might just get a new module not sure which one tho. Good review like always tho 🤝🏽
Thank you! All of SP newer ANC buds aren't much better than the T2 honestly. The opera buds are but who knows when they're coming out
The right earbud on my jabra elite 7 has died so I'm looking for a quick temp backup. I don't like stem earbuds so Liberty 4 NC and others are out of the question.
The problem is, should I get A25i or pay some more and get A40 instead?
I was looking at the moon space earbuds you mentioned in a video. Are they comfortable?
Great comparison video, James! I have the Soundpeats Free2 Classics and the Soundcore A20i; & I actually prefer the A20i. Both sound similar, but i prefer the fit of the A20i & the app support.
I'm in the "loud crowd" - I need them loud as i have some hearing loss, & both get plenty loud for me.
Hi David! which do you think has a better fit? I have small ears so I would like to know if there is a difference☺️
@@catkittykatLate reply.
I just copped the Soundcore a20i. Couldn't resist $13 even as a backup pair due to all the positive TH-cam reviews.
Anyhoo, I feel tolerable fatigue after wearing them for an hour or two.
I'm coming from the original Galaxy Buds (smaller) which I could wear until the charge died. Only reason I looked for a new pair is the left bud loses charge after 90 minutes or so.
Hi i found out that QCY T13 have anc version, which is better ?
Is the Soundpeats free2 better or the Lypertek S10
T13 are my go to buds for work purposes. I take all my zoom meetings in them and when I want to block out office chatter. I love the tight, punchy bass. So far, the call quality is great too. They connect to my laptop the moment I pull them out so I don’t miss any unexpected calls. I like the T13s so much that I got a pair for each of my colleagues!
i got qcy t17, and they have the same sound signature, and shape as the classic 2. except the classic 2 has a tiny bit more bass.
I tested many Buds over 100usd that had great reviews....for calls and meeting online...they all sucked !!!! Robot voice...compression dropout ...etc etc...does t13 really allow for finally to speak normally and other people don't tell me I am a cyborg ?!!!!!!
@@karimgeniokarim-genio5086 i have bought the soundpeats free 2 classic and the quality really surprised me. Sound quality is good with punchy base that isnt over the top. A well balanced sound signiture on par with my samsung buds 2. The call quality also surprises me and never getting complaints in that front as well. And that for 16 euros 😀
Wow that presentation was superb very thorough, very helpful and not at all boring. Really appreciate it. I just bought a pair of the QCY 13s because of your research really awesome thanks heaps
Thank you so much! I'm getting the QCY T13. 🎉
I bought the qcy t13 but they aren't connecting after the 1st time I used it
Man I love my Soundpeats Free 2 Classic. It has been my "budget standard" for sound quality and battery life. It is very hard to beat.
Tell me about it. Only reason I'm replacing it cause there's no replaceable filter and I'm getting kinda grossed out even after trying to clean the buds.
Sound quality wise: are any of these better than the jlab air go PRO? The Pros are on sale for 30$
Thanks for the excellent review, Nandor 😂
Really liked the video :)
Thanks 🎉
God tier comparison. I dont comment usually but this video deserves it.
Thanks!
QCY are a great pick. Until Black Friday I'd never heard of them, but as I was looking at various websites I came across them at non-black friday pricing of EUR25. The cheapest name brands on sale for black friday were the JBL Wave (the case with no lid) at EUR40 and the Sony WC-500 at EUR50. Those were too pricey for my budget so I looked at the QCY among others. Specifically the T16 buds because they have the qualcomm chip inside with aptX and bluetooth 5.2. My xperia 10iii supports aptX, amongst others, so it looked like a good choice.
bought them on Monday and they are fantastic. Great sound, great fit, nice case and design, very good battery life and charge time. For the price they are fantastic. Even has passive ANC.
After a bit of research it turns out that QCY is the brand of a large earphone/headphone/accessory maker in China who amongst other things makes all the Xiaomi buds. So you know you're getting quality from an experienced company. Highly recommend.
@@medwailboucherit7864 Those are excellent! They are also known as the Melobuds and on TH-cam they have fantastic reviews. People are very impressed with these. One reviewer called them "perfect". This QCY seems to offer excellent quality at an affordable price. Apparently they have become super popular in China because of this
Awesome review once again my friend! Thank you for this!
I think for now I'll get the Free2Classic. My TrueFree2 has really been my mate during the pandemic and getting me back in shape in the gym.
Btw would you know if the Soundpeats Mini increased its price? It did here in the Philippines
No worries! SoundPEATS have increased their prices for some buds over the years. The free2 classic is much more balanced compared. If you like the sound of the true free 2 you might prefer the Soundcore A20i better
Do you play games sir ? Itatanong ko lang sana kung natry mo sa fps games kung delay ba 😅
This video is so well made
Great review, hope your back gets better after that bench press hahaha
Thank you for this review! I'm waiting for my Soundcore A20i which I am expecting to be delivered by Saturday. And the good thing is I only got it for $10. Greetings from the Philippines! ❤
@@boop2369 super ok. I am actually popping it in my ears right now as I type my comment. Long lasting pa rin. And the sound hindi nagbabago.
I just bought SoundPEATS Free2 Classic, its sound is really great
I jave the QCY T13 and theyre AMAZING
I use them only for calls and playing music, no gaming or a anything zo for a casual use and such a low price theyre. Totally recommended
We want a test for qcy ht 05 and ht07 please are they worthy to upgrade
I actually have 2 pairs of the go air pop wireless earbuds..
My first pair was noise canceling but a bud stopped working so I had to get another set.
I loved the Go air pop so I got the exact same earbuds. Color and everything..
So you can imagine my surpise when I found out this set wasn't noise canceling like my first.
I was like wtf and very mildly disappointed. But for being my first pair of wireless earbuds.. they arent bad though and if I turn the volume high enough they can become noise canceling.
So they aren't horrible but very disappointed to learn theyre no longer being made with the noise cancelation feature and that I had to learn that the hard way
listening using soundcore a20i here.
I been skating with the JLabs & they don’t disappoint. Set your buds to bass boost & it’s like the world don’t exist. Only thing is after being in your ear for an hour they start to hurt.
Have you tried the Moondrop Space Travel?
Nc video can u give me eq settings for qcy t13
can you review the moondrop space travel?
Got the QCY T13, they ain’t as comfortable as I thought, I tried the different sizes and still none of them really fit and felt nicely, but when it comes to sounds they were beast, when music is playing alll the noise is just gone, lost them 2 times and I was able to find them with the app
great video. my right earbud on my pixel bud series a has gotten super quite. like over 50% lower than my left bud. google charges $40 for replacement. my brother had the same problem with his airpods pro 2nd gen. i just dont think these really expensive buds are worth it for these issues. id rather spend $30 on something that works just fine. ill be saving the a20i for a future purchase down the line cheers
I'm using the free 2 classic. Really good earbuds in every aspect. Only complain would be the call quality.
Tozo Tonal Dots! An upgraded super comfortable t12: sounds great, great battery life and sound isolation.
the call quality is the mic test?
I have Soundpeats free 2 classic, Jlab go air pop and Soundcore R50i. I prefer free2 classic.
I need a recommendation for earbuds that stay in ears. I have small ears so my actual ear canal is small also. I always put the smallest rubber tip on, but buds still drop out with much movement on my part.
Yes, I'm still using ear hook type with cord between them because I've lost or damaged enough buds.
So any help is very appreciated.
got qcy ht05, cheap and it's great. pair it with poweramp eq with imported presets to your liking. battery also last about 5-6 hrs of use at 50-60% volume.
My friend bought them and I want better than him what should I buy? (With the same budget)
@@medwailboucherit7864 I don't know if moondrop space travel is on par with qcy ht05 but it ia within the price range, check it out for user reviews that might help.
thanks for the comparisons, ended up with the free2.

Best video I’ve seen on budget earbuds. I think I’m going for the sound peats 2 for work.
Will Space Travel make sense to be on this list as well?
Hey everyone! I made a small mistake. The Tozo A2’s final score is supposed to be 35. I had the control score at 4 when it should have been 3.5. Still this doesn’t change the final ranking.
It would be helpful if you added the names in text when you display the scores for each category
Which one better? Soundpeats or Soundcore?
Just bought Soundcore A20i after watching your video. The reason i choose Soundcore over Soundpeats is because the BASS!! 😊
Hi Picky Audio! Have you ever tried Oraimo buds? They get a lot of praise for great quality for budget prices. I'd love to hear your take on them if they're available in your region
