Pro tip-Read the manual for your SM-7B and you will find how to configure the microphone for the way you are using it so the cable is not under so much strain. Your microphone will thank you.

I'm a little confused. I am launching a podcast with no previous community, fans, audience. Does this mean pre-launch should be skipped? I mean, I can't really promote it to anyone because I don't have any sort of base online.
