    Thank you! I'd love more videos on other zones. I'm in Central Florida, zone 9b. You're so thoughtful to post this video for your fans that are in different zones than you.

    I have learned so much about succulents since I started watching your channel. You’ve inspired me to try my hand at using succulents not only in containers but I recently created an in-ground succulent bed. I’m in zone 8 and this video confirms to me that I used the right kind of plants in my bed. Thank you for the knowledge and the inspiration!

    Thank you so much Laura. I am in AZ 4800 feet zone 8b and I do have some of those plants already in my garden but the palm and the aloes I am definitely going to look into getting. I just this past spring purchased a Sahara Echeveria that had 6 pups and looked like crap for $20 brought it home cut it up reported them and with our monsoons they are doing wonderfully. Mother plant is throwing off a bloom or I think another pup not sure. Our sun is so intense here most sun loving plants need dappled shade to look their best. Thanks again for doing this video!

    Beautiful design. Living in the heat of South Texas, watching and learning from you, I've been inspired. I finally gathered the courage to take care of some of these succulents, and even made a small hanger pot for my mother as a gift. Thank you for encouraging us as you have done me, inspiring strength in us to grow these beautiful plants, and your continued effort providing these tips to help us grow along with our leafy friends.

    Hi Laura!! I stumbled onto your channel by accident and now I'm hooked! Every night before bed I watch at least 2 or more of your videos...I have a system and I started at your very 1st video and now I'm here at "succulent design zones 8-12" I just went online to USDA plant hardiness website and I'm in zone 9B. I have started implementing some of your tip of the days and have made small arrangements using cuttings and hopefully when I'm up to date with your videos I can start to work more on my yard. I would love some ideas of what to do with my yard. I have a very unusual property (compared to all my neighbors) and I really need some ideas of how to tackle the landscape. Do you ever travel to do landscape design? Anyhow...you may not even see this post...but if you do, tell me how I can get in touch with you...I would even be interested in coming to SD area to help with some of your design installations!

    You are awesome Laura! I absolutely love your channel and love your dedication to succulents! Could you please recommend the best way to take care of the smaller succulents in a zone 8? Our area just north of Sacramento gets pretty hot outside with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees. However, inside we keep our house at 68-70 degrees. Would you recommend I grow my succulents inside or can they handle being on the patio without direct sunlight? Appreciate your help in getting my succulents the best chance to survive :)

    • @LauraEubanks
      @LauraEubanks  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trial and error is the best teacher! Try them out on the patio, but keep a close eye. Long term, they likely won't do well exclusively indoors. Acclimation to outside is best. Have patience and faith in your instincts! Good luck❤️

    I love your work. I'm 9b and plant the succulents that you use in your area. I do see here in the California Bay Area the same succulents you use down south. Do they not grow as well here in the north?

    • @LauraEubanks
      @LauraEubanks  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brenda Jenkins depends on your microclimate. Many of the softer succulents are sensitive to temps above 90F and below 40F.

    Hi Laura good morning:) what does "specimen" mean? I have a big curl echevaria i planted together in a pot with mother in laws tongue. Was that a good grouping? Thank you ♡

    • @LauraEubanks
      @LauraEubanks  7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Carolina "specimen" simply refers to a plant that is lovely enough to stand alone! All plants that have similar light and water needs are considered "compatible"
      Your sansevieria and Echeveria should be very happy together💕
