    Wow, that wall hanging in the background with all the cactus on it is amazing. Would love to see a video of how to create that!

    You made my day - it's been a long one, and to relax and watch you describe this lovely garden was a pleasure. It was helpful to see and be reminded of maintenance, I am always flying by the seat of my pants particularly with regard to pest control. I prefer neem oil or other natural sprays, but I have not had luck treating mealybug this way. I may breakdown and get some stronger stuff. Thanks for your inspiration!

    As always, another wonderful, informative video. My one observation is that when you sprayed the insecticide you didn't have on gloves or long sleeves. Even though the material used is a fairly safe pyrethroid, it can be irritating to the skin. As much as I hate wearing gloves or other safety equipment, I do use them. I just follow the safety instructions on the container and wash my hands when done. Again, I so enjoy your videos. I have learned so much from you. Can't wait for the next new video!

    I would love to grow Copper Spoons in my home. I love the shrubby effect of the plant as shown in the shady planter you highlighted. Just gorgeous! I LOVE your videos and am learning so much from you! Thank you :)

    Hey Laura! Love your videos, I learn so much!! I'm sure you are quite seasoned in this being this is your career, but I've noticed how it never seems to phase you with being gloveless and touching bug infested plants. Not even spiders seem to phase you. You are my hero!!! I want to be like you. Do you ever get scared?

    Hey Laura! One thing that would be really cool if you to do would be to show us how you secure rock topdressing, and what you use.

    I have learned so much from your videos Laura and I love watching them. Question about the mealy bugs. I have been using the insect soap to kill the mealy bugs and noticed changes on the leaves of some plants. Is the insect soap safe for crassulas and jade p!ants?

    Thank you so much for making this video. I've currently been dealing with a light bug problem in my yard and this video really helped in determining what I'm dealing with. However, do you have any suggestions of pet friendly pesticides for my outdoor succulents?

      Anthony Porter try liquid dish soap diluted 10:1 with water in a spray bottle😊

    Thank you so much Laura for all the awesome Info.... Question.... I have an aloe vera plant that is brown I don't know if it's sunburn, or if I'm watering it too much or what. It is in a clay pot and it gets afternoon sun, which can reach up to 108 degrees here in Rialto, California.... Thank you!!! 💚💚💚✌️

      Green Lady sounds super stressed. Do you see new growth developing in the center of the plant? Are the new leaves green? If you see new green growth, continue to water, if no new growth is present, withhold water until new growth appears. The plant can sustain itself with the liquid it holds in its leaves.

    Laura, what is the attractive tall plant at the end of the video? It sounds like petalanthis? And is it a full sun plant? I am in Las Vegas, unfortunately can’t do most of the succulents in our heat.I am looking for tall cacti or a vine to soften the look of my block walls. Can’t do anything with messy flowering as it’s next to my pool.

    So the ortho pesticide doesnt burn the leaves? I need to buy some!

    • @erikm8372
      @erikm8372 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      just dont spray before noon or the sunniest time of day. it probably isnt hugely problematic, but the reflection of the sun could burn the plant :-)
