- Mukti Mata (1922 - 2008), a longtime SRF nun and minister SRF who became a disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda in 1945, discusses Paramahansaji’s teaching that prayer is an expression of the soul. She explains that the more we go directly to God with a trusting attitude in prayer, conversing naturally from our heart, the more we build a strong and intimate relationship with the Divine-one which will be a constant source of guidance and support, no matter the circumstances of life.
Mukti Mata shares stories of her experiences with Paramahansa Yogananda and Paramahansaji’s own use of prayer to draw the help of God.

So genuinely wise, eloquent, warm and witty are all the nuns and monks of SRF. Yogananda must have been a very special personality to have molded young westerners into such spiritually pure and enlightened and dedicated disciples. Their love of God and Guru is so real and contagious.

This video came at the right time, just to remind me in these turbulent times to keep trusting in God only, and yes, I never ask for a house and never thought I was going to have one, but just las December, short before all this pandemic started, the invisible hands of God put a house in my hands with no mortgage, all paid (and not from me) , no debts, and later a field where to plant all my veggies and trees, did not paid for it neither, no debts... What can I say, God, just give me the strength to do not deviate my path towards you!!
