- This talk from Self-Realization Fellowship nun Sister Priya addresses the necessity of cultivating a personal relationship with the Divine as a key element in our spiritual journey, as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda and other great souls.
Sister Priya shares that Paramahansaji stated that “Each soul’s relationship with God is unique in the universe,” and that “There is a personal element in the search for God that is more important than mastery over the whole science of yoga.” She then goes on to discuss several essential qualities that help us grow spiritually and bring the greatest love and joy into our hearts and lives.
In her talk Sister Priya mentions the practice of the Hong-Sau Technique of Concentration and the Kriya Yoga technique. These along with other yoga meditation techniques are taught by Paramahansa Yogananda in the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons.

Priya Mai has such a divine, soothing speaking voice! Why, she could talk away a migraine. I wish she narrated more guided meditation videos here on TH-cam. Peace.

Saturday morning is the much awaited time when we get to hear the inspirational talk by our Beloved Gurudeva's Monastic family. These talks and lectures and meditations are transforming and magnificent! Oh how I love them! They truly help me to keep going with enthusiasm. I can tell my life is changing absolutely into the Absolute. I'm becoming more peaceful and serene and can focused and accomplish things with more termination and assurance. And not without test like no other. I follow the lessons and not gotten to Kriya yoga yet. This is a True Path and a True teaching and a True Dispensation from God through our Beloved Gurudeva. Oh how I love him!!!!

Been doing this almost all my life… Indeed we can use anything to connect to divine. ie my dance in July in night club. I’ve danced my heart off. At one point it felt as if my heart will explode I was so happy. So I sat in the corner by myself and connected my mind to heart. My heart felt so happy and large as if this body was not big enough for it. It felt blissful… it was so joyful and content to feel that all over my body as if little stars were tingling everywhere underneath my skin…

Namaste Neil, I think the singers first name was ‘Roberta’. She had the voice of an angel and the particular song, “First time…” was perfect to showcase her vocal range. It remains one of my favourite songs. The very beginning melts me, it is heavenly!. ✨🙏✨

It's not a religion. More like universal all inclusive teachings. You can belong to any religion, and still benefit from these teachings
