Honestly, I'd never thought that in the 2020's we'd see a political party based purely on race.
    Yet here we are.

The "revivalist party is at it again today. It looks like it will be an interesting turnout (not all participants have assembled as I write). It might seriously disrupt any number of absent minded folk who are almost solely focussed or fixated on idealised "traditional Kiwi family values" and on recreational activities guised as productivity.
I should get a group together to do something similar after today's (pilot episode) has drawn to a close.
My beef can be the appalling state of adult New Zealanders gums, teeth and their oral care, and where, by developed nation standards pertaining to national health funding, it is WOEFUL.

Can we please have an Audit on the billions already given to Maori so we can identify if they are really making change, as I’ve yet to see anything other than Maori constantly taking, and nothing trickling down to those who need it. We really should be concentrating on one people on country and giving money to people who need it, not giving money to set races and classes. If the Maori really need it they would get it, but giving money out non stop and seeing little to no change over the last 40 years needs to change.

its funny how she thinks she and her party are effective as representing all maori, maori are 17.1% of the population, they are poling at only 1%, to say they represent all maori is a contradiction to what the remaining 15.9%of maori feel.

No. Polling doesn't put them over the 5% they need to get into parliament. It's only because Rawiri won his electorate seat, and Debbie rode his coattails to get in. If Rawiri doesn't when his Electorate next election neither of them will get back in

@@colingander3051i wouldnt say ridiculous. I dont agree with half of what they do, but what they are doing is wanting maori to have as much rights just as much as europeans. If you were maori you would understand and know that equal rights isnt happening in this country, but they are changing that by aknowledging that the maori culture deserves that right too if not have more of a say to what happens to their culture and that being said, lead by maori. Many maori went without for many years and its about time things started changing. Its just the way they going about it is probably not the sufficient way. We need to become one end of story if no1 can provide and interpret that then they shouldnt be leading our country.

The "revivalist" party. Why not take a step back (in time) and try to see some humour in relation to their aggressive accusations.
Their strongest message lies in "sounds historic".And their handlers sure do appear to have learned (at arm's length) and effectively applied a bus load of tactics. These have been taken as leaves from the book of British influenced NZ Pakeha in relation to race tactics, so that a very strong influence can be asserted over many people. It's a demonstration of symbolic or figurative oppression and fear mongering which many Maori have insisted was utilised by Pakeha for centuries. They're playing the same political game and they have a lot of influential backing to play it with.
My feeling is that being "thrown into the same pot" as newer Pacific Island immigrants around 1970 really made a lot of Maori spew. It might have been the final intolerable statement they would listen to from the "British cliche". A New Zealand Herald publication by Tapu Misa seems to allude to this.
Anyway, the best thing for me is that I'm simply a Barbie doll, and so I don't have to feel sympathy in support of any one factional or even notional group.
And since early "barbiehood" I've always been impressed by the depiction of the of the blessed virgin mother Mary (of hot and arid Middle Eastern descent) and what a really nice lily white skin complexion she had. It shows how well the ancient sunblock/sunscreen worked for many people around that region.Still, I really do like the colour of my pinky white skin, although I do happily tan it up well from time to time. Previtamin D3 and Vitamin D are important secosteroids.
Yes, I'm very happy with my skin colour, and I don't carry any guilt in relation to my dead ancestry.

People rabbit on about your not full Māori, your a brown pakeha and so on. People you need to get over yourselves.
If you are of Māori ancestry and you decide to adhere to your Māori side, you are Māori. No different to she decided to lean towards her Irish side she would call herself Irish. that is her choice.
      Please stop ALL this BS.

Maori arrived 700 years ago. The rest of us 400. First and second wave migrants to the same country. Get over it and make the most of the opportunities NZ provides to us all

@Jester Wens Wait a minute... you lump all white people together when we are, for example "causing all the violence", or "screwing over maori"... yet when it comes to our arrival time in NZ, all of a sudden we're not a homogeneous group? Which is it?
