I just bought my new pc, from selling my stocks. I sold about $3000 to buy it. And right now it’s running smoother than my old computer and my creative skills have become so much better than it ever has, i can create music, render anything i want in blender and streamline everything i ever wanted without any worry of lag. Best purchase ever and most expensive thing i ever bought so far in my life. Now i need to upgrade my CPU and monitor in the future!
Thanks! We just moved into a new studio which took 6 months of hard work. Be prepared, we will be uploading more as the year goes on and we get settled in!
Heck yeah! Check back in when you're done and let me know how it goes - also if any parts were difficult. I may do an updated video in the future and feedback would be very helpful!
How do we feel about the CyberPower Ryzen 7 7800x3d, NVIDIA GeForce 4070 Super Prebuilt PC? Should this run well for gaming and simulation games in specific? Great video btw and thx for the Advice as this is my first ever PC!
Absolutely, with the exception of your the windows username (if you change your username the directories won't change name). Other than that, you definitely should go through and do everything in this video!
Well. I built my first gaming pc. Of course, i dont have a good gpu yet as im saving for it, but when i finished the build, it booted right up. All i have to do is save for a gpu, and im great. Right now, im using a gt710 just for a display but its not too bad.
@CanadianComputerCollector the cpu i have doesn't have integrated graphics. Ryzen 5 3600. I did look into it but couldn't find a cpu with integrated graphics that was in my price range, so i had to just roll with it.
In this case you should try to get anything GTX. A gt710 is going to be a massive limitation. A GTX 750 would be a big upgrade. A GTX 1050 or 1060 would be a huge improvement. Those cards are all dirt cheap. Even anything from the GTX 9-series
@CanadianComputerCollector oh, im not currently looking for anything near r9 280 performance. I had an old pc a while ago and upgraded the r9 to an rx 5600xt, i sold the pc for a car and now that im building new one i cant bring myself to go back to old performance. Im saving up for an rx 6650xt mabye a 7600xt.
Try a different headset to see if it works. Also try installing/reinstalling drivers. If the headset works on another computer and you can't figure out drivers, just format your boot drive and do a clean windows install. It's the nuclear option but fixes most software issues without advanced troubleshooting.
We did all the updates, drivers, etc. but not any of the things that require you to log in with your own account (for example: Steam). By now I presume you've already installed your games so you should be good!
Opening my pc on Christmas, I got a 4060 and a i514400f currently watching this video. So should I connect the internet or not (I’m referring to the start of the vid lol)
Depends if you have windows 10 or 11 installed. If it's windows 10 definitely not. If it's windows 11 it might not matter but it doesn't hurt to try to setting up offline first.
Go to the amd website and look for the driver package for your GPU. It's acceptable to google "AMD Rx 7600 GPU drivers" just make sure the link you go to is the official AMD website. Congrats on the new PC/GPU!
I just ordered my first pc it’s a pre built one, one question I have is can I buy the windows 11 code n just do that or do i actually need a usb and a different computer to download it and switch it like iv been seeing?
If the pre built doesn't come with an OS you will need a USB installer. Not sure if you can buy that from a store but you can definitely make one with another computer.
Set up the PC with wired usb m/k, go to MSI website and download driver directly. You may need to pair them with the receiver before they can be used. then come back here and lmk if it works. Best of luck!
@@CanadianComputerCollector thanks for reply. Guess I’ll buy a cheap wired one or maybe can borrow from computer shop. Seems like a known MSI issue. I’m sure this will work with wired m+k. When i get a new pc do i first boot it up without plugging usbs and stuff? Or is plugging usbs(bluetooth) etc fine before booting it up for the first time? Usbs as in mouse, mic, keyboard, external drives etc
It’s not going to fry the computer either way. But sometimes if you connect usbs first it’s not registered so you’ll have to plug and unplug again (idk about other people, that was just my experience)
@@Wolftopia_yeah it doesn’t really matter. but you do need a moues and keyboard to fiddle with bios and install windows so after it boots it wil automatically enter into bias and then you can plug all your peripherals
Keyboard & mouse should be plugged in asap. I'd wait for everything else until you've got all your drivers and stuff installed. Not for any particular reason other than you just want to let the PC power through the initial updates without any "distractions" let's say, but tbh, it really doesn't matter.
This video is 99% perfect but I will say that these days a vpn is no longer necessary unless you live somewhere with restricted access to the internet as Microsoft defender is fine for defense
