- After about a month of preparation and training, I get to join my first race on the Mini 6.50 circuit. A 200nm loop along the french coast on the Atlantic side.

I remember a tee shirt from my youth "Corner city, we're gambles roam and the dice are thrown". Being conservative and sail up the middle of the beat is the safe option, but you never forget it when you bang a corner and get it right. Keep on sailing 👍

Première course plutôt tranquilou côté météo :-) mêmes si le tout petit temps crispe un poil les nerfs. Pour le mauvais bord… ça nous est tous arrivé au moins une fois… j'ai aussi un souvenir cruel à ce sujet, héhéhé. On apprends de ses erreurs. Keep on sailing dude !

looks like a lot of fun. One question: when bringing the spinnaker down (at about 10:00) the boat sails perfectly in a straight line without having you on the tiller; is it that easy to balance that boat, or are you using autopilot? Cheers!
