These guys are brutal on these pans! I only see one one operator who drives forward to a lower drop off before turning off the hill and gently making his turn!
Good video there brings back lots memories as a boy this what I watch theses were working every where and most my people and neighbors were on these jobs building levees along riverbanks for floods! It was all CAT equipment but all open cab they worked 24/7 day/ night crew work every day till a rain out!! If you mis a day you lost your job!!’But that’s the you got job if you was there in morning somebody didn’t come to work then you got wat you said you could operate that need a driver to show foreman wat you could do if you could move dirt fast you had job!!! It was just as cold in winter as was hot in summer but if it was dry they work every dam day you can’t beat CAT power equipment!!!!
Should have been there the day Phil Kahue put a crack in the goose neck of a 650 for Duesenberg told him we get this welded up you can come back to work
First thing I would do if I was running this job is FIRE about half of the roughest operators in-front of the others and tell them if they didn't get the message about equipment abuse they would be next. There is no way an owner can stay in business with cowboys abusing his equipment like that. That crowd would put you in the POOR HOUSE QUICK! The owner could forget making money and a mansion and start getting ready to be homeless and hungry!
