Another therapy used for serious brain/nervous system regulation is neurofeedback, which can be administered by a variety of doctors/practitioners, like biofeedback. I went through a years-long h*ll of competing diagnoses (mostly Lyme disease) and didn't feel any better after treatment. I initially went to this therapy just to help with sleep, but it had profound and completely unexpected effects on many aspects of my life. I have no pain, tons of energy, motivation, better sleep, mood regulation, and more. There's 30+ years of data available on some of the oldest methodologies.

This illness is new and unusually frightening because we've not experienced anything similar in scope. Im so glad to finally see recognition. Im in my third year of recovery . This technique works and kicks us up a notch in self healing.

A little diet and exercise is too simple huh? A lot of these symptoms overlap with diabetes, so there's a decent chance they're conflating how they feel with covid, rather than the obvious pre-diabetes, hypertension or worse. I think the issue is many Americans don't want to even explore the possibility that their very poor health is their own responsibility, and therefore easy to fix. Its this "long covid" that they are a "victim" of.
Anytime people will not even attempt to see their agency in a situation, either leave quickly or you've got a compatriot in complaining.
