The work ethic in certain styled families is alive and well in PA. Lancaster County PA is one hot bed for guys and companies that still have pride in their rides with good business models. (Your guest is from neighboring York county.). After 50 years in the biz, company and O/O, I again get that urge when hearing stories like Colt’s. Good stuff!!

Well, he mentions that he doesn't run HOS legal. His dad runs one truck does he 1099 him because he's family. How much ground does he farm, or did he just use the name to get a USDA small business loan? If you do a little looking other than those trucks he doesn't have anything. Back in the 80's I did the same thing, except I lived in a 86" cabover for 2 years. If he thinks owning 5 trucks is going to be a treat, he has another thing coming no matter how good he thinks his buddies are. Wait till this economy tanks, he'll wish he had sold that truck.
