Yet another person here who’s been trained under Danny, and I have to say the best thing about these videos and his training in general is that not only will the techniques help you on test day, they will help you when you’re actually out on your own at shippers and receivers as well! The things he teaches you here and on the training pad will be of good use to you for the rest of your trucking career. Danny is a whole encyclopedia of knowledge, knows his craft very well and makes everything very easy and simple to understand! If you’re coming to Prime definitely try to get him as your PSD trainer, you won’t regret it 👌🏾
Thanks so much Shawn, I really enjoyed working with you, a great student, a great hang and a great dude. I’ll definitely be looking for your insights in future videos 🙏🏻😁
I just want to say the fact that you not only explain everything in your videos so well but also PUT AN ACTUAL EXAMPLE of a real life truck doing the things you just explained helps me so much I’m a visual learner so I really appreciate that so much I’m gonna be taking my test pretty soon Thankyou for all the help you have provided me 💯
That’s so great to hear James, thanks for reaching out with the support 😁🙏🏻 means a lot to know that it’s helpful and I wish you all the best on this test, you got this 💪🏻😎
Hey hey everyone !! Super excited to finally be getting this next episode up !! Hope it helps with that alley dock, I know it can be a little intimidating 🤷🏻♂️😎 looking forward to the next episodes, reach out with any questions 🙏🏻🙌🏼
Great refresh...Danny was my trainer been driving on my own for 9 months. Was great getting/seeing this video. This man is on point. Holding toes to the fire.
Haha James you were so great to work with and spend time with ‼️ I’m glad you’re driving continues to be fruitful 🙏🏻 any ideas for future videos ? Anything you’d like to see 🤷🏻♂️
Your videos have been some of the very best on You Tube. I am praying for you to be my PSD trainer once I get to Prime. Great humor, clear explanations, absolutely awesome teaching! U Rock!!!
Haha, old friends about to be new friends 😁 great to hear you’re coming to Prime! 🥳 Have you emailed us at dannybcrisp@gmail.com yet? I’d be happy to train ya 🙌🏼
I am so glad that the content is helpful, thanks for reaching out! Seeing the breakdown from the drone makes it less intimidating for sure 🧐😯😁 you got this!
Ola you’re the best !! I had such a great experience working with you, I’m glad you found the information helpful 😁 Keep me posted on your driving career 🙏🏻
I always recommend to break it down to the basics. 1, 2, 3. Point your trailer. Get back in front of your trailer. Straighten your steers. Then start all over again 😎👈🏻🧐
Great information on this video. I heard you say if we need to go 6 inches, don’t go 6 feet, what is the correct distance should I go to then? maybe one foot? Or one and a half feet? Or 6 inches?
Great attention to detail there ! Awesome 😁 So the idea I am getting at here is to "tailor" your pull ups and adjustments to the situation you are in. Every situation is differentiated by the angle and the distance. Shoot me an email and I will break it down further for you if you'd like ... dannybcrisp@gmail.com 👍🏼
Even with this great video with super good explanation, I failed my test yesterday. I did straight back, offset but the alley dock failed me. I just couldn’t do it. I’m 30 and the alley dock is the hardest thing I’m gonna have to learn since I’m on this earth. If anybody got more tips about it don’t hesitate to let me know. Thank u
Hey Angelo !! Thanks so much for the support 🙏🏻😁 and that’s great to hear you were able to get your first two maneuvers accomplished 👍🏻 the alley dock can be daunting, especially if you come in a little too wide or too tight 🤔 remember to have a plan when pulling up and when backing 1. only push the trailer enough to correct it 2. steer right if you’re wide, left if you’re tight 3. get back straight with it And allllwwwwways remember, it’s not how many times you’re knocked down, but how many times you get back up 🙌🏼🤠
Best of luck today !! While it is true that each state has subtle differences in how they administer and evaluate test takers, the general principles and skills built in these backing videos should hold up across the different exams. You got this ! :D
@CDL Yeah unfortunately i failed on the road by forgetting to put the button down while down shifting to 5th gear. But I passed all my maneuvers and pre-trip, and the parallel parking video helped me a lot. I used that same technique, and I got it at one shot. Just got to get another date and just retake the road portion of the test.
This video is shown to me is from drone camera but how the driver saw exact position of trailer going to right or left. More important is to what extent we need to pull up. Does it 15 to 20feet every time? What should be the basis.
Great questions !! Thanks for reaching out, a lot to think about here 😁🤔 every back is unique but typically pulling up 15-20 feet will put you in a more manageable position. Whenever you pull up you need to have a plan for your trailer. As you pull up, point the trailer by driving the truck in the opposite direction you want to point the trailer. From that new position tailor your angle, tighter or wider, to the degree you need 😁🙏🏻
I wish they made it this easy at my school😢😢instead it’s a right 85,left all the way, right again then another left… after the first right everything else is judgments enough room for lots of error and fixing
Hey there, glad to hear the information has been helpful 🙏🏻 sorry that your program has been frustrating, not too late to call up a recruiter over here 🤙🏼😁
How difficult is cdl pre trip inspection ive been learning a lot of parts online by watching videos i got about 1/2 it down im leaving for school oct 30 unfortunately i didn't get on with prime you guys were my first choice
Great question and sorry you didn’t get on with us, you sound like a great, coachable candidate with that work ethic 🤓☝🏼 depends on which test you’re taking, it is in a transition of sorts right now … when and where are you going to be testing ?
@@CDLYeah well I'm going the 30 of this month got my CLP it's sopost to be 3 weeks long no I have not received information when I will be tested from Swift I'm guessing it's all going to be in the time frame of the school just don't want to mess up right now i work for a lawn company driveing a 3500 with a 20 foot tandem dump trailer

Hi Danny this is Mario we spoken earlier today
Hey partner, keep up the good work on those alley docks and lmk if you have any questions
@@CDLYeah alright I will
I didn’t know that the exam had alley dock. I thought it was only parallel park ,offset, and straight back …?
Alley dock OR parallel for the 3rd maneuver in Missouri right now. State by state it can be different. Which state are you testing in and when ?
