I see how you got on this way.... I use it to carry all of the related adapters with Lightning Connections. Audio, HDMI, VGA, SD Card Reader. Also some iPad Pro USB-C of the same type. I do, with a secured with Velcro'd Down, Power Bank and I leave the top trays open for my phone. I do Pro Photography & Videography & always have my phone like you. When those storm clouds come through I know my phone Will Be Dry & Charged when I get back to needing it! Thanks for your time and Video!
That's not a bad call! I've been using my iPad Pro to do all my footage backups in the field. It's clean, but I need to have a stack of hard-drives and cables.... That may be the destiny.
Stores five cigars, sometimes six on the bottom.. top tray I keep it lighter a cutter and a bottle opener.. the sleeve in the back I throw in a Boveda humidor pack.. works great for a car humidor to always have some sticks or for taking them somewhere that you’re not gonna put this in a bag
I found this case as part of a comprehensive first aid kit put out by North American Rescue. I was checking it out along with the rest of the items in the kit to see if I could save a few dollors buying the components seperately. Decided to check out a few reviews on the case itself to see if the price was justified. Since you already own the case you could pack that sucker full of first aid stuff and toss it in your truck. It would help keep things cleaner , drier, more organized and undamaged. I tend to not be so rugged either, but I do sometimes pretend and when I do it can get ugly. I have spent a lot of time in an Emergency room getting stitched up but the last time cost me a lot of blood while en route to the ER sopping up blood with a roll of paper towels. I got so cold afterwards for days it made me realize how serious deep heavy bleeding wounds can be. No longer will I take bleeding lightly, I will do what it takes to stop the bleeding faster and more immediately before I mobilize to seek medical attention. That's a perfect platform for an EDC first aid kit. Good luck. Hope you find a use for it. I also have all sorts of gear purchases that I bought for the coolness effect and haven't had the opportunity to put them to use. I stare at all the stuff from time to time and calculate the wasted money and ponder how many additional car or mortgage payments I could have made with that money.
Not sure if you have a good first aid kit, but that would be a great container for all of your loose first aid supplies, more than just band aids at least!
This video is exactly me after buying it because it was so cool I couldn’t not find something to use it for. I never did. Then I saw it and decided to look for new ideas for it and this video popped up first and now I’m concerned that it will never be used.
Saludos!!
I like the idea Ryan King had. Make it a nice convenience small tool kit for your vehicle. Maybe add some electricians scissors, chem lights, small zip ties or 550 cord, cell phone power bank etc.
I’ve been looking at all sorts of luggage solutions for all kinds of different reasons. I came across this and it seems like a nice box. The 40 looks a little big for me though, I thought it would be a nice little box to put the stuff I keep in my car but don’t use super often in a convenient spot where I know it will all be. These items would include my knife, leatherman, two flashlights, the tool for removing my roof rack, and a couple pens. That’s about it unless I find something else to tuck away in there. But basically yes, it would just sit there with items I use from time to time and that’s okay
I really like this video. I feel so many content creators will feel the same way about gear and stuff they buy all the time. I have a Gator Frameworks case from back in the day when I used to travel with my audio equipment to record bands. It was used for about a year and then I stopped working with that stuff. I do like the message you are sending out about getting things with the goal to do things with it. In your case, being more "off roady" for lack of better terms. It might not be smart at first but when you eventually use the thing you got for a specific reason it will be worth it.
Bought the r20 and sat on it, unused for about 2 years. It’s been sitting safely as a book stand 😂. But I just picked up the r60 and that, ima get use for it as a smaller tackle box
dude such a hilarious video. Thanks for making me not regret buying it. :D ... the only use case i see is when dirtbiking an actually muddy environment. Maybe like u said put a phone and a charger when driving... but even than its propably overkill.
It's now found its purpose as my "Sticker Case." I have it filled with all the stickers I've had made and I bring it with me on shoots and pass it around for people to take stickers. Not a "rugged" use, but it's by far the coolest sticker case I've ever seen.
Hahahaha I have the exact same case. Same thing. I take it with me fishing, for my paper license and phone. When I'm winter hiking with my toddler, it contains a first aid kit. I put it in the sled and pull it around with my toddler/bag etc. But that doesn't happen very often. So, it just sits otherwise. I can't part with it because WHAT IF I DO NEED IT ONE DAY!!
This is funny. I too have one of these, unused for about 5 years now, and I only just thought to see what other people are doing with them on YT and here's the first video I see. So... ditto. As a cameraman, I have important stuff, but more then would fit in here..... other than hard drives and media cards. So I guess its going to remain a media storage bin on motorcycle trips...
I would put my powerbank, passport or so in there. I mean... I have bigger cases from AUER CP 3213/4316/6433, that I use for my camara. Especially when letting others help me carry my stuff (tools/camara/lenses/other expensive stuff) from car or train to the location. I like hard cases, as they are waterthight and don't soak up like bags do. Also... others love to have to much adhd, get distracted and just drop the case... with 3 lenses in there... or the A7m3, or... you get it. These had been dropped over 40 times in total in the last 4 years, since I started. I still thing it's a good investemt, as these 1-2m drops would have cost me at least one full kit already. (also... at least one case had been dropped down the stairs and had no damage inside)
Use it as a mini survival kit put flair's knife fire starter flash light power bank anything you can use in a quick pinch extra phone cable just some ideas
🤔🤔 When you say you occasionally engage in canoeing... 🤔🤔🤔 I do find myself dusting off a recollection, a hazy memory if you will. Of a certain individual, fellow miscreants and a resident from the North Pole, along with some beverages laid out on a deflated raft in a seasonal photo. LOL 😉🤣🤣 BTW Hoard that case somewhere. If you sell it or give it away, you'll be looking to use it within a week. #MurphysLaw. 😂 Have a good one. Kind regards, BG 🤠
The ratio of inside space to outside space isn’t quite right to keep it in my truck either. I think it’d be great for bringing some stuff on a canoe trip. That’s my best current lead.
xD i do this all the time buying cases and luggage & power banks that i just don't end up using :/ by the time i do come around to use it there's already a newer better one out for the same price i coulda got if i had just waited until i needed it haha
"And seeing it around my house is a reminder of my lifestyle choices and how they differ from my perception of myself." Bro this is too much introspection for a Monday night. BTW I just bought the 40 and the 60 as well as the IM2050 today on amazon. Also just hit subscribe, I'm more into photography, just picked up the new R5 from Canon last Christmas but will watch some of your vids. Cheers 🍻
It's too bad you lead a life where you don't need such a case. Maybe you should change that. I personally have four of these cases and deffinately need them in my life for the types of activities that I do. These are some awesome cases and are all but bulletproof. All of mine are now scratched, beat up and caked in dirt and I wouldn't have it any other way. That being said. These cases are also great as an edc or vehicle case to hold tools, extra phone cables and chargers, first aid kit, etc. You can load it up as a "get home" kit and stash it in your truck or car, just in case. I mean, you already paid for it, you might as well put it to use doing what it was made for. Then again, maybe you can keep looking atbut sitting there empty and use it for se inspiration to get out and do something that you'll need it for. No sense in letting money just sit there and collect dust. I highly encourage you to get out and do something new and adventurous.
I love this. There have been some great suggestions. I think I'm going to make it into an "essentials" kit for my truck. First aid, a multi-tool, some paracord, charger, etc. And my son and I will be going camping quite a bit this Spring. We'll put it to good use!
EXACTLY ! i just brought mine out from a drawer an thought what should i do with this
. Googled it ha and your video popped up . Too funny
Hahaha, there are SO many of us!
Same here lol
I use it for traveling! Throw my loose items in it and put it In my backpack. Game changer.
I see how you got on this way.... I use it to carry all of the related adapters with Lightning Connections. Audio, HDMI, VGA, SD Card Reader. Also some iPad Pro USB-C of the same type. Great! Do you think r20 will be too small for cigars storage? Thinking which one to buy.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! And this is definitely my favorite idea yet!
Thinking about getting two of these to strap to the side of my EUC as storage for my tool and med kit.
Two would look way cooler than one. Maybe I need two...
Not sure if you have a good first aid kit, but that would be a great container for all of your loose first aid supplies, more than just band aids at least!
Good idea! Besides, if I'm doing rough and tough adventures, I'll probably get a little dinged up along the way...
This video is exactly me after buying it because it was so cool I couldn’t not find something to use it for. I never did. Then I saw it and decided to look for new ideas for it and this video popped up first and now I’m concerned that it will never be used.
I keep stickers in mine now. It's a very cool sticker case. We make stickers and give them out. So it's fun to "open the vault."

I, too, like this. I may try to kit it out this Spring to be useful.

Now there's an idea! Some truck accessories... I could use it for that!
That was perfect! You made me think 🤔, I'm the same...lol
Thanks for the honest review❤
Of course! Thanks for the happy comment.

Stick a boveda pack in there and you have an excellent travel cigar humidor.
Now THAT'S genius! Even little compartments for a cutter and lighter....

That sounds like a good use. I'll need to buy a motorcycle now....
Hands down the BEST case for a 420 outdoors man 👌🏻👌🏻
Hahahahaha, now that's resourceful!
Funny they don't show marketing photos of that on their website...
@@ShaunHautly hahaha they're missing a trick 👌🏻

Not a bad idea! Our power went out for a little while this morning, and that could have been useful if it hadn't been fixed so quickly...
This makes an excellent travel humidor
I've heard that one a few times. It's been a while since I've had cigars, though. Now it holds all my stickers. :-)
Using them as first aid kit cases
Good idea! But then I'll have to make sure I'm doing rugged enough things to get slightly hurt from time to time... ha!
I love your video !!! So true !!! Have a beautiful, not too rugged, day 😅
Haha! I really will!
Nice video. Seems like you bought a solution, but didn't have a problem.
Yep. 100% what happened. Haha. It's a really NEAT solution, though! I just don't have a neat enough problem....
My exact same experience with this case. So weird.
Right!? All of us! What is this?
I mean I stuff batteries and cords in this. One of my most important cases.
LOL 😉🤣🤣

Please sell it to me I can use this for my cigars
Now that's the best use case I've heard yet... :-D
@@ShaunHautly lotta cigar guys do it with this case because it’s sealed. Just throw a humidity pack in there and you’re set
turn it into a MINI Portable Power Box.
YEA I HAVE ONE ALSO. SAME PROBLEM.
We all need a support group. Ha
That thing looks cool but I can't think of a use for it either, it's too heavy and takes up too much space in a backpack.
The ratio of inside space to outside space isn’t quite right to keep it in my truck either. I think it’d be great for bringing some stuff on a canoe trip. That’s my best current lead.
I have one for my zoom H6 and I’ve only ever put it in it twice. Idk why I have it. And I barely go outside.
That made me laugh aloud.
xD i do this all the time buying cases and luggage & power banks that i just don't end up using :/ by the time i do come around to use it there's already a newer better one out for the same price i coulda got if i had just waited until i needed it haha
Haha, I didn’t want to talk about my stack of power banks…. They’re plentiful and mostly unused.
You read my mind
I set it next to my OneWheel for further inspiration (or guilt).
I use mine as a cigar holder
"And seeing it around my house is a reminder of my lifestyle choices and how they differ from my perception of myself." Bro this is too much introspection for a Monday night. BTW I just bought the 40 and the 60 as well as the IM2050 today on amazon.

Thanks for the happy comment! Enjoy the R5, it's a great camera.
CIGAR HUMIDOR!!!!
I use mine as a cigar humidor
I've heard that a few times. Too bad I've stopped smoking cigars.... Maybe I should take it up again, just for the case.
Can I please have it. I'd give it some use
we spend money we don't have buying shit we don't need...
And we spend time we don't have making and watching videos about all that stuff. haha
Guess you’re just gonna have to start smoking 🤷♂️
Hahaha

Haha, I can't resign to the fact that I'll never have cooler hobbies... I've gotta cling the to hope!
TACKLE BOX
That's a great idea. A box to keep things in when I get tackled!
He he me too
PADDLE BOARD CASE
I could never fit a paddle board in there!
same lmao
Give it to me😂
Ha! Now I keep my stickers in it.
