Nice review, Mido said that this is supposed to be the last Dia de los muertos edition after 5 years of different watches so i had to grab this one and i love it
Yes!!! My contact at Mido told me this is the last limited edition! He also told me there are only about 150 in the US, so it's awesome that you picked one up! I hope you are loving it!!!
It's a nice looking watch, i bought the Mido decompression timer 1961 (2024 version) juste before this came out, I said to myself in my head, damn. Here in Switzerland was sold quickly on Mido site. I know a store that still has it in stock, I'm really hesitant. As I also bought the Certina Skeleton (omg this watch), I'm a bit tight on money. We'll see in December if it's still available. Nice review.
Good luck, man! With these watches, you never know But I’ve gotten some ridiculous discounts by taking a chance and seeing if they hit the gray market 😆 It's not guaranteed they will, but when they do, sometimes you can get an excellent bargain Thank you so much for taking the time to comment 🍔🍺
Great review. I love MIDO and I think it's a highly underrated brand. My Limited-Edition Ocean Star is awesome, and you know for a fact that if you change the name on the dial, they'd be charging 3x as much...... looking at you Tudor! Either way, this watch you have looks pretty cool, the only issue I'm having with MIDO is that most are too big for me. This watch in 38-, or 39mm would be 🔥!!! Maybe you can tell this to your contact there 😉
@@LosNTime I thought they were 35mm?! Yes, I'm thinking about getting one, not sure. And good luck with your move. Sorry you are leaving TX, it's not that bad.
Oh snap, you are right! They are 35mm Not sure where I got 38 from 😆 I'm excited about Portland, my wife two of my kids and the dogs are at the new house already I'm still in Texas while my youngest graduated high school, so I will probably be there until May I'll be at minutes + hours in Austin in a few weeks. If you're going to Say hi if you see me :)
Fantastic looking watch and really suits you! (what's your wrist size?) I actually really like the complication, it's subtle and adds a certain mystique that could be something of a talking point. Great review and enjoyable content as always. Thanks Carlos! 😎
Hey, thank you so much for such a lovely comment My wrist size is 7.5 The watch is 42mm and, I think, 12mm thick I think you are right about the use of the complication I don't entirely hate it; it just takes me a while to fully appreciate it But I do like that they went experimental: artsy on this one 😆 🍔🍺
Appreciate the quality review as usual 🫡 and it keeps improving. Pretty neat details on this one, I'm no black pvd fan, but this works well here. A new 2025 version will be a challenge, maybe a funny placement of the date into the skull.
Yeah, I was told this was the last limited edition But as I understand, 2025 will be a regular production piece I hope it will be the best details of each release combined into a new design 😆
Thorough description and amazing shots, great job man, you gained a subscriber!
Thank you my friend
Glad you liked it 🍔🍺
