How many of my friends have fed their families off of what she caught is amazing in its own right. One of the most storied fishing vessels on the East Coast of the United States.
That was my uncles boat. He built it in Alabama and owned it for over 40 years. I worked with him and my dad on it for almost 4 years my uncle joe rose named it after my aunt sue rose. He sold it about 5 years ago to a company in r.i and now she's where she is. She has been in this family a long time and it's sad to see where it's at now. It holds a great sentimental value in this family it really sucks to see it like this
It only matters that no lives were lost, everything else is a matter for underwriters, lawyers and negotiators, after which a cheque, or cheques will be issued. Good salvage, great ariel videography and narration. Thank you.
It's strange to see all of that sand there along the jetty. I haven't been there in years but that spot was my favorite surf spot and now it's gone. When did that happen?
Why was it lifted out of its watery grave? Was foul play suspected? Or was it a navigational hazard? Seems like a lot of money spent on a boat that is more than likely just scrap?
@ I had to do a google search on that fishing vessel. I’m not familiar with the back story, that was never revealed. I live in Connecticut far enough away from the disaster. Once I read about the whole story that the crew let the boat ground itself on the beach. Then being pulled out & subsequently sinking in only 50 feet of water. I knew right away that part of the structure would be very close to the surface of the water. Then I answered my own question that the boat would indeed be considered scrap & sold off by the pound. That the insurance company was going to be on the hook for everything. The next question would be about the crew. I know they were rescued. They might be on the hook with the owner of the company for the eventual destruction of the boat? I wouldn’t want be on the crew during their exit interview. Then being black balled forever for allowing that to happen?
@@bradmagnuson6963 They’d be very lucky if that is all they lost? They might be on the hook for any all expenses incurred by the owner of the vessel beyond what insurance allows & any & all increases in insurance premiums. They’d be lucky if all they had left after that would be their dignity. Sleeping without someone on watch is perilous especially in congested waters of the northeast. They could have struck a boat out fishing or someone else on their boat also taking it easy. Very stupid in my book. They could have killed someone? They’re lucky it was only property damage?
Shoulda left it on the bottom. That boat is un seaworthy. The reason it rolled is because it had no water or fuel or ice onboard and it became unstable and as soon as they floated it it rolled.
Except those four photos zoom in and rotate completely around the boat to give you almost every angle of it. Don’t gotta watch the whole thing, thought it was interesting.

I believe this the same boat that got stuck on the sand with the guy jumping off almost a year ago today.
Yes that’s what I said in the info….

She's only got one eye to see out of, no wonder she missed the inlet.
The other widows are covered up
I got it, I have a sense of humor
wonder if she will be cleaned up n rebuild and put back into service or scrapped out

It was absolutely a navigational hazard

Somebody took a nap on the way inn and woke up on the Beach lucky they didn't hit the rock Big Jack's out in front of manasquan rock pile
@@johnclyne6350 the captain of the vessel more than likely, lost his license, probably a 1st mate as well(if they had one)

Those are boarded up from storm or wave damage
@jerseyShore did u get any footage of the Country Club Wildfire in LAkewood?
Considering beating she took the port side plateing looks streaght
Video footage was clear but why didn't you show it breaking the water coming up ?
I hope her bountiful harvest in the catch hold is still edible. I'm hungry for some fresh pink snapper fillets stuffed with some sausage in the can.
Did anyone pass away
Everyone on the boat survived

Good now go get to Andrea and Gail 😁
Looks similar to the Andrea Gail
But why?
Just needs a Bandaid
Feel bad for the sea life and fish that were trapped in boat after they brought it up.
Yes definitely !
По-моему они там остались порыбачить

Who pays to recover these sunken boats ?
You of course 😊 or the insurance company but in the end. You pay higher rates 😜😜😜
@@jd-ku3iw not me
Usually, salvage companies. They pay to get salvage rights to the vessel
There's a shipwreck in New Jersey I'd love to get salvage rights to, but new jersey won't allow it
@@bradmagnuson6963 thanks
I think they forgot to put the drain plug in the back of the boat when they left...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Use flex tape and flex seal and off she goes
She might need a full detail job..😂😂

Somebody took a nap on the way in and ended up waking up in surf lucky they didn't hit the rocks
This boat was in state Waters and I imagine the owners had to pay to get it out of there
