Ive been told you should but I've never had a problem and I wear this watch when I'm doing building work, The last 3 weeks I've been building the new watch workshop with it on my wrist and it fine
Hello. nice video, I have a really loved seiko 009 , revisioned more than 3 time. but after some years it's start to loose minutes badly, Can you please link me the exact tipe ov movement you're using in this video? I would love to upgrade mine .
You definitely missed swapping the black movement holder to the NH36. Like this, the new movement will not be secured, pushed down properly. You also missed to mention, that an NH36 with a specific day wheel is required to enable the 3.8 crown position. Sorry, but like this, your video is a miss.
Seiko SKX is such a cool watch and everyone getting into the hobby should own at least one. I luckily have 2, one is a backup ! Great video sir!
Couldn't agree more as there a great watch and starting to become cult classics
I appreciate you for this
Anytime Chris
Nice work Barry, thanks for showing us. 😊
Cheers Bob , when I can sort the cameras out I need start doing full service videos but I think II'm going to need more cameras for that
Nice video!
Quick question: Did you not swap the gray spacer ring with the 7s26 black ring?
Is it not required, or is the gray on ok to use?

Getting ready to change my crown and fix the bezel on my SRPF77. 🥶
Just take your time and don't remove to much at once 👍🏻
I want to swap the 6R35 out of my "Willard" for a Spring Drive but I don't know if it's possible.
It maybe possible but a SD movement if you can find one will cost you well over a £1000 I believe Sir

The movement was really tight and so I didn’t feel it necessary to swap the movement holder over, But fair comment about the day wheel 👍🏻
