Man I’m telling you, I’m just so sick of chasing bourbon at this point. The fact this bottle was there, cheap, and i want to drink this all night long is enough for me. The amount of time standing in line, gas money, and then just shear price of a bottle; is a $400 bourbon REALLY worth it? $400 is a plane ticket to Rome, $20 is a Jim beam bottle that’ll drink me a good time!
hell i mean.. a 6 year old toasted bourbon for 25 bucks? unheard of. today everything goes over 60$ if it goes past 4 years. Outstanding product. i love mine. And a great review!
Definitely trying this. I bought the 7yr. as soon as it was available, and I go back to it frequently. The lack of proof doesn't make this stuff bad. Thanks, Trev!
Had to travel out of Utah to find this bottle but absolutely amazing. Could not believe how much I enjoyed this. There will be multiples in my collection for as long as they make them.
JB Winter Reserve: Hell, I'm all in immediately. What's better than holly, dark orange and black. The marketing is spot on!. It's like Samuel Adams Octoberfest...you don't leave it on the shelf. The proof has nothing else that matters. Sugar, spice, and everything nice. Go Bama.
It might not be for everyone! I will say, it would be phenomenal at 100 proof. I would 100% start with this because it gets overpowered by basically everything else you try before it. Cheers man!
Idk if I'm getting covid or if today was just a bad day for my taste buds. But this bottle tasted like absolutely nothing. It was like adding bourbon to a glass of water you can tell its alcohol for sure, but It had no real flavor . Maybe i got a bad bottle . I don't know . I mean, I only spent $20, so I can't complain. But the flavor profile this could have had really left me wanting something more.
You definitely have Covid… Honestly though, i try not to overhype things. It’s super low proof so I’d definitely start with this bottle and not come back to it if you’ve been drinking barrel proof or something. That said, if you still don’t like it; hey, we all have different palates! Most important thing is you tried it and formulated your own opinion all while only spending $20. That’s still a win!
Wait 7 black was suppose to be that. Wait jack bottled in bond was that, Wait old forester 100 was suppose to be that. Bla bla bla. Great video though as normal.
I’m with you on this one. $18 in my local Walmart. A steal at that price. I’m a high proof hound and I can say this is a great supper regardless.

Picked mine up for $17.99 each in Illinois. It’s a great sipper and honestly punches above its proof.
7 Year is sub-$20 here in CA. Now, I have to look for this one! This is the first I've heard of it. Thanks!
The neck pour is a bit rough, let it sit a week or so to mellow

i was nervous to purchase this, figured it might be too gimmicky, but i love the review, ya talked me into it!
I can’t wait to try this one 🥃

The 7 year is amazing, I definitely drink it if there isn’t something special I’m in the mood for
Nice review 👍🏻 picked up a bottle here in Kansas. For around $20, I like it.
Got one yesterday. It's pretty good. Not sure if I like it more than the 7yr Black, but I like it enough that I hope they keep putting it out.
It fits my budget sounds really good🥃🥃🐶
The Winter Reserve and the Black 7yr are actually only $19.99 each here in SC. I think both of them are fantastic for the price.
Where are you finding it in SC? I’m in Spartanburg and saw it once in a store in Greenville off Pelham Road. I should have grabbed it.
@@heywardcampbell5721I saw the Winter Reserve yesterday at Heritage in Simpsonville. Had a whole display there.
@@chipaydlette6163 i wanted to go to the “meet the distiller” there yesterday but I couldn’t make it. Thanks for letting me know though!

100% getting this! Thanks for the video my man!

I agree Trev 💯 this is a fantastic release from JB! Definitely my new favorite budget pour 🥃 Thank you for the review! Cheers brother!
Hope to see this out here, a def try for me. Maybe JB will allow some store SB picks at like 105-110 proof.
Thanks for the awesome review, have not seen it yet on the shelf in FL hope to soon. Bringing it strong for the daily crushers.
Thanks for the review Trev. Looks like I will have to pick one of these up.
I m going to have to try this again. I must be missing something because I think its very weak

Really like the Jim Beam Black. Was going to pick up one these, but now I think I'll get 2.
What's the difference between this 86 proof ?? and the new 7 year ? Haven't seen it here in ID. What you going to buy ? Cheers..
This better not be a scam like when people said Benchmarks was good.

Exactly same for me
So um cinnamon ?
Jim Beam is always a letdown and ends up being a mixer or drain pour. The JB Black 7yr was the same. Spend $5-10 more and get something better.
I enjoyed better than the rest of the inexpensive JB line but I never reach for a 86 prf whiskey
I just buy 2 for 20 each. In Walmart
Jim Beam is thinking they can’t win with one or two really good bottles so they put out four or five ok bottles hoping they sell more
Your a buffalo trace guy ?
How close is this to Fireball? 🥵😆
Not at all, doesn’t have any cinnamon added to it.
It would be better if it was lol
I had it and decided to blend in some Kirkland Single Barrel (120 proof) and holy shit was it perfect! You think I'm full of crap until you do this!
What ratio?
@@domingocorona7028 4 (Beam) : 1 (Kirkland)
Wish they would quit putting out all the low proof stuff.

It's a pass for me, can't stand Beam products🥱
