Been watching quite a few of these now on your channel and you are a very confident fast worker and you clearly know what you are doing. You must be fairly strong too how you man handle some of the gearbox’s and pushing out them ball joints Look forward to all your future uploads
SoundCycles It’s a fairly straight forward one as far as clutch repair goes. One tip tho. Slacken all bolts for lower suspension arms so you can release it a lot easier with less struggle from the ball joints. Good luck with your repair. Any advice drop us a message.
@@WMCS No No. Thank you. Years ago when I was broke and needed a car to get to work I couldn't afford repairing it and I almost threw the towel. Being able to drive to different locations has helped me grew my career and gave me unlimited options. Things would be totally different if it wasn't for car repair channels and forums. Watching guys like you do the work has helped me and encouraged me to learn car mechanics - it was the only way I could afford having a car. I know it's probably the last thing a mechanic wants to hear, but for the last 15 years I've been repairing my cars myself. It saved me at least 15k, taught me new skills and helped me out of debt. Driving barely working cars (the only cars I could afford fresh out of school) comes with nasty surprises (breakdowns). Sol Boom it’s on the end of the box with a 21mm nut. Otherwise best option there is a black breather cap at the top. Pull it off and fill it through there.

@@WMCS Thanks. My C4 is due for a clutch replacement and planning to fit it with a BE4/5 Short shifter gear linkage. Thanks for this. Haynes manual stated the crossbar should be removed, but from your vid it looks like it can be done without removing the bloody thing

Hello
how much do you take, and how long does it take to replace the clutch on this car
congratulations to you and good job
An excellent video.
You never take out the gearbox complety to change the clutch ?
If I have enough room to get in there then if I don’t have to I don’t.
why didnt the clutch need to be bled ?
Hi. Do you know where is placed the gearbox code?
Each gearbox make has it stamped in different place..., a bit hard for me to answer that one. Sorry 😐
Hi, where is the gearbox oilfiller location on the gearbox please ?
