I wonder who the 1.5 thousand folks are that disliked this video...even if you don't drink, how could you dislike this gentleman's creativity and attention to detail?
Awesomeness Hands Down.. Not Only Is This A Great DYI Idea.. But A Great Gift For Someone.. You Sir Have A New Subscriber Now.. Keep Up The Great Work..
Wonderful work. It's a pleasure watching you work. Your attention to detail and your professional, clean way to work is amazing. I just wished you'd still these. It would be just the gift for my husband.
I have ordered a dozen of the Russian Jerry cans about 5 years ago for this project. I have made 10 of these and they sell for 100 dollars easy. Thanks for the video inspiration back then! I totally forgot I did this lol
Hats off to you. Very well done. Your cut was so good that the door closed perfectly even with the rubber seals on both edges.. this was the part that I didn't get a perfect seem. I cut a mirror and glued it to the back and installed some LED lights on a sensor :) great job.
Beautiful!. The one upgrade I can see, I'd glue green pool table felt on the inside walls of the glasses holders, and maybe the inside of the bottle shelf, too, to avoid scratches to the glasses, and to give a bit of cushion in case of impact.
Nice! BTW you could utilize that wasted space at the top, right below the handle by fitting a tiny 12v Peltier converter and turn that thing into a mini fridge.
I made almost the same can but in mine i put 12v battery from old electric tool and LED lights with the switch in the cap. Also in the cap was a charging hole.
Well done. It would be interesting to figure out a way to partition off the area above the bar to make the spout and what limited space is left functional.
If you cherish your eyebrows (or eyes and hands, for that sake), never use an angle grinder on a (used) gas can: It can blow up in your face! Not even washing with soap and water will help: Only cleaning with a steamer (pressure washer with heated water) will get rid of the very dangerous residual gasoline. Remember: A lot of gasoline is flammable. A little (vaporized) gasoline is explosive!
Buy angle grinder for $80, buy can for $20, wood, edging material, hardware for $15. Owning tools and educating yourself will give you pride in your work and save you money.
@@thedriveasmr4125 I dare you to find even a Chinese knock-off Jerry Can with that type of spout for $20... LOL! Please post a link, if you do. While I do agree that a person should be reasonably handy, some people simply don't possess that kind of skill without injuring themselves in the process of attempting such a project... and I'd be the very last one to ever criticize someone for knowing and staying within their limitations.
I totally agree with the comments below. Attention to detail is superb, explanations are clear & well thought out, the finished product looks great. All I need now are some tools & not to be intimidated by my 2 left hands. Thanks for this one, WDT :)
It's definitely not a Russian master, ours do not work that way, it's not safe! The Russians will change the disc so that when they saw, the sparks fly forward, and the device moves back, and thus only newcomers work for us.
Caution! Never cut with a disc saw A tank container of any kind was filled with flammable liquids, it could explode and hurt you. (From bitter experience ...)
Very well done, it's perfect! Maybe a little bit of foam on the door internal would keep everything in place while the minibar is in the car or similar...but it looks better this way ,🙂
great video and awesome idea only thing id suggest is doing the varnish before you assembled it because in my experience at 5:17 if you get any glue anywhere else other than where it will sit. the varnish wont set right on that part of the wood if that makes sense. it will be a slightly different color because of the glue even if you wipe it off some residue will sit and varnish wont sit well on it although i didnt see that happen here just a tip for beginners Edit: and it helps so you dont have to dig your hand in the tight corners if it was a different project that had tighter spaces

Nice clean build. I like it.
That's WAY cool! Maybe leather straps for bottle and glass. Beautiful work!
Man, fantastic job. But it would be even more fantastic if you've made a mini fridge with it. Using a peltier module. ;)
MC's Creations cool as fuck dude
I'm doing just that!

This is a fantastic build. Just sub'd your channel. I love your work. You should open an Etsy Store, you would make a good living selling you wares.
I really admire your great amount of craftsmanship.

Great product!! You did a fantastic job showing and telling us how to build it. Thanks.
Wow nice work if you can share the interior schematics just be great!!
Great video. I love how clean and organized you work.
Nice! BTW you could utilize that wasted space at the top, right below the handle by fitting a tiny 12v Peltier converter and turn that thing into a mini fridge.
Could be his stash for other items. Accessible from the lid.
Manick N Other items hmn?😎 *cough* weed *cough*
BeGamerSl yeah I was thinking along those lines......
Manick N i was thinking some kind of sleeping drugs to pour into a girls drink
I made almost the same can but in mine i put 12v battery from old electric tool and LED lights with the switch in the cap. Also in the cap was a charging hole.
That would be a good fathers day gift

Excellent video. Well narrated with attention to detail.
Looks hella professional

Well done. It would be interesting to figure out a way to partition off the area above the bar to make the spout and what limited space is left functional.
You can even use it to keep small bottles of gasoline.
:+)
If thats the purpose than you shouldn’t of done anything , and just used the original jerry can
^ o rly ngga
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS IN DA HOUSE
he's joking, because you don't need a gas can to make a minibar, you need a minibar
i see none understands the comment... the bottles of gasoline are for drinking.
Meticulous workmanship !!
That was very impressive great job!!!
Neat work with that angle grinder!
Лучше просто, налить полную канистру вискаря)
Its better for fill full canister of your fuel ;-)
Пхпхпхпхпхпхахаха
Truely amazing concept and really fine workmanship. Enjoyed watching the video!
Where do you put the weed?
use roundup
That goes in the Nozzle
RobDewLags that would be actually really smart. Great tip.
It's in the Coca-Cola safe can duh...
You put it from the pouring spout on a small string.
A great job from a genuine craftsman.
Even though I’m only about 13, this was very cool. Great Job!!👍

This is brilliant. I wish I was creative enough to think of other stuff to store inside the Jerry Can.
испортил хорошую канистру под спирт)))
ユラ это точно алкаш
если бы пришел в гости с канистрой спирта было бы круче - улетнее)))
он еще и корчит из себя англоязычного
Immaculate build. You have made it all seem so easy. Thank you.
Now, if that had been a bottle of gin and some cans of tonic I'd have made you an offer for it. Really good video, I have subscribed
Very nice! you sir are a true craftsman!
Русский акцент
Снято в России, русским, розетка на заднем фоне русская на 220 в)))
Да мож и чехи какие, канистра внутри то окрашена была. А по-русски должна быть ржавой, т.к. краску спиздили
Excellent job! Congratulations!
Make sure the tank is full of gas before cutting for the straightest cuts.
I know you're joking, but you're right! A full can is less dangerous than an empty (used) gas can, since vapors explode more readily than liquids.
Einar K Liquids actuakky dont burn. Only their vapours do.
Buy new. Or suffer the consequences 💀☠️😂
Really great idea and outcome this would be great for my military vehicles
can you make me one? would pay 200$
