I don’t understand these missions can I fire the slbm or whatever it is in the epic mod in a semi auto fashion? If so how do you keep firing? Finally how do you tell the purposes of each weapon your sub is armed with?
You can't fire them in semi auto. You have sort of encyclopedia of ships/subs in upper right corner. Click on it. When opened, click on first from right icon, thats your ship/sub, you can see characteristics of your ship/sub and armament. When you click on particular weapon you will get info about that weapon.😁👍
Pretty poor performance by the USN. That Typhoon would've been dead long ago in real life. They already knew where it was, and most if not all of the warships have Sea Lamps III helicopters with MAD gear and torpedoes, and stand off ASW weapons. Sonobuoys would have pinpointed the location of the Typhoon and the whole area would've been flooded with torpedoes along the projected route. Wouldn't matter how deep it dived, the USN warships never even had to get close to it to kill it.
In real life USSR even no need to move submarines somewhere they can just launch rokets from their oun territory , also all this big trucks with rocket on it , submarines and other mobile platforms not designed to do 007 moves somewhere in Us water borders it's designed to survive in case if someone dare to start this kind of conflict and hit them back or be able to move with own army to new place to be able to do more far strikes, also big mistakes in this game where is coming Typhoon class submarine suppose to be USSR's fleet with them , so here the point don't think about game as a real life based story
@@jacobblumberg6299 Angle. Wire should go straight from torpedo tube and up to 90° left or right. Sometimes they break anyway, there's randomness about that. Also if you launch when you change depth that can break it to, if angle is to big.

Did the torpedoes keep exploding because of the depth?
Or they run out of fuel.
The dropped torps an rocket torps can't go past like 1500ft so they blow. But regular torps will go that deep
