Carla Cappa Omg my heart broke when I read your comment so I rewatched & it’s all okay. When dogs have floppy ears one or both can flip backwards & lay flat atop their head due to head movements. It’s really hard to resist flipping back over the right way, which is what his foster mum did & adoptive father commented on. He actually said “You wanna fix that ear don’t you? You’ve been fixing that ear all week I bet.” Their older dog Garcia has floppy ears too, which is another indicator that they’re not savages & also the reason he knows just how hard it is to resist flipping them back over! 🐶 ♥️ 😀
Fostering kittens and older cats brought people into meet them after going on about how great they are and the room is destroyed with toilet roll and a flittered box of tissues......
I was going to quote Obi too. Then I thought oh, someone else had to have said the same thing! ( me realizing that the narrator and camera person set me up to think this.) I just love the DoDo. Makes me get up in the middle of the night to give kisses and hugs to our rescue, who loves to cuddle and love my elderly Mom.
I used to have a misconception of pit bulls that many people have but after watching a lot of rescues and other videos I’ve come to see what great dogs they really are!
Pit bulls are the most gentle, loving and loyal dogs you can have. It's all about how they're trained and the people that train them. Any breed of dog can be trained to be aggressive. I'm a Lab/ Golden retriever guy myself, but all the Pits I've been around wouldn't hurt a fly. Great dogs
*parents. We all need to stop using the term owners as it perpetuates the idea they are objects to own, they have feelings and emotions so deserve more credit. 💗
Luna and Obi are adorable!! Even though they were adopted by separate families, I am happy that they got to see each other again. Hopefully they will have more play dates in the future.
I’ve done fostering and broke down every time . It’s to hard for me to let them go. So now I just volunteer at the shelter . But honestly I recommend everyone to try fostering if you have the time,space and love to give
I dog sit for my townmates when they travel. It's always so great!!!! We dog sat two absolute great ones earlier this year and then I ran into them at the supermarket and they just jumped on me. It was the best fall I've ever had. People thought they were attacking me but the owner just watched laughing as they licked me etc.
You are an angel! I've only fostered once...entirely by accident. My friend lived next to idiots who just let their animals roam loose ...right next to a country highway where ppl drive 90 plus mph. After I think the 3rd animal ended up roadkill she basically pupnapped little Honey not wanting to see her mowed down and she wanted me to take her and find her a new home. Honey was fearless and the cutest little thing...a wee tiny little curly haired terrier that just let me take her in my arms right away...zero ANY fear at all. I had no idea tho what to do but one of my clients(I'm a dog walker) asked if she should put her on NextDoor to find her a home. NextThing I know lol is getting way too many ppl wanting her so how do I choose the right home? That was hard...so many ppl giving me great reasons why they are the best choice of a home for her. Dummy me gets food poisoning from fish that I should hv known wasnt good ugh and now I have puppy that needs constant supervision...so I asked one of the families who really wanted her to pupsit while I recover. I brought her over to their house while I was so very sick but I had to do it,for her sake as well as mine. Very nice,very well off family that clearly spoiled their dogs...was a match made in heaven. The doodle loved her right away and they are the best play buddies despite the huge difference in size haha! So tiny little Honey was saved from those idiots and got the best home for she could ever ask for! Worked out beautifully!!!!

If you have any bully breed BLESINGS ALL AROUND YOU 🤗I had my pitbull of 15 years pass away a year ago and my heart literally just was shriveling... I even had an anxiety attack and had to go to the hospital... . Two weekends ago I went and I got a beautiful Blue, I named him SAGE 👑 I'm so thankful truly angels. No coincidence God spelled backwards is dog 🙏 My heart is beating again. I'm forever grateful for these four legged loves🐶💟
I would have adopted both if only I lived in the USA. I've always adopted bonded pairs or trios or mom and pups... But I guess in a city like New York it isn't easy. As long as they're loved forever . .I'm m happy 😊😊. Wishing both kids a safe and blessed future. 😊😊❤❤❤

Luna really started to trust them at 3:56. Look at her paws. Her claws retracted. She relaxed more. I love pit bulls so much. I have 2 sibling pit bulls and they are just the most loving and calm dogs ever. I love them so much. They don’t look like pit bull because one of their parents are black mouth cur but it saddens me when I see pit bulls being judged because of their looks and other pit bulls actions. It’s not fair. Anyway thank you for this video it made my heart melt.

This is such a cool story. These families have thought of the dogs and their feelings. It is cool to see them playing with each other. Most puppies don't get the ability to see each other again and I love that they do. I hope these families keep these play dates. It really means a lot to the dogs. 👍

People say that pit bulls are aggressive and really dangerous and should be put down. I’m glad the Dodo is proving them wrong. I love pitties. I used to be so scared of them because of the ones that lived near me but i knew it was in how they were raised. I was still scared of them regardless, but The Dodo has made me seen them in a whole new light. I want to thank them for that. I now want a pittie when I grow up and have a family. That u The Dodo for shedding a whole new light on pitties for me. U have inspired me to be the best I can be for any animal big or small. Except for spiders though, no one will ever be able to change my mind about spiders lol.

Ch Mayday offspring. Really it was a chainweight. After those dog were condition. They were at 55- 60 lb. No American pit bull terrier has gotten up to 109 lb. That's way over the American pit bull terrier standards. Dude you have to accept that you had no Game Dogs and that goes for anyone else. If it's not the American pit bull terrier....None of you guys have Pit Bulls. End of Story. You're the one that childish because a grown man will do his research instead of acting like a child going back and forth. I given you books to read and you don't want to believe in that. When Richard Stratton has been around those dogs for a long time, owned the dogs and probably met majority of the old dogmen that bred those dogs. As far the government describing the dogs. They label everything with a block head as a pit bull. I told you in the late 80's. We(ADBA Club) had to send a description of the American pit bull terrier to the BLS because they were labeling other dogs as Pitbulls and they're still doing that crap today.

I like and trust dogs far more than I like people! They don't pick or belittle, and complain about trivial things...they are far more grateful and loving. They don't wait until Christmas to be loving and happy. They show their love and mean it. God bless the people who love these Earth Angels. We can learn to love through them. Unless they have been abused, they are ready to love anyone and every. Prisons should have them to rehabilitate.

DODO mislable dogs. 99% of dogs he show are mixed dogs. The biggest problem for the American pit bull terrier.. Comes from other dogs.

@@luciferblood your dog is mixed. It's hard for a American pit bull terrier to reach 70lb. There were only a few dogs that reached 70lb . Like :Gr. Ch Mayday, Plumber's Gator and some of Gr. Ch Mayday offspring. Really it was a chainweight. After those dog were condition. They were at 55- 60 lb. No American pit bull terrier has gotten up to 109 lb. That's way over the American pit bull terrier standards. Dude you have to accept that you had no Game Dogs and that goes for anyone else. If it's not the American pit bull terrier....None of you guys have Pit Bulls. End of Story. You're the one that childish because a grown man will do his research instead of acting like a child going back and forth. I given you books to read and you don't want to believe in that. When Richard Stratton has been around those dogs for a long time, owned the dogs and probably met majority of the old dogmen that bred those dogs. As far the government describing the dogs. They label everything with a block head as a pit bull. I told you in the late 80's. We(ADBA Club) had to send a description of the American pit bull terrier to the BLS because they were labeling other dogs as Pitbulls and they're still doing that crap today.

Luna was the shy one and when the adopters started letting her sniff them she just bloomed like a flower.

I like and trust dogs far more than I like people! They don't pick or belittle, and complain about trivial things...they are far more grateful and loving. They don't wait until Christmas to be loving and happy. They show their love and mean it. God bless the people who love these Earth Angels. We can learn to love through them. Unless they have been abused, they are ready to love anyone and every. Prisons should have them to rehabilitate.
