@@shonklebonkle324 they still regularly go out, plus there’s the infinity gate and the dark cells and various things like the war of the beast, the war of apostasy the various odd jobs they go off and do like protect random people, protecting the angels last double ganger and giving pretty much ever single chapter the new super duper marines.

I would have thought the Kriegers would have shit bricks at the sight of a custodian and practically worshipped him as a demigod. The trash talking is apparently accurate as Kriegers are *very* abrasive towards other regiments and often operate exclusively in their own theaters to prevent conflicts (plus they have enough bodies to fill whole theaters with ease)

French and Germans. And quite clearly so
Their planet is the German Word for War . Their gear is mostly German.
The only even remotely French part of them is the breastplate. And even at that all sides during WW1 had troops equipped with them in various regiments and specialized units.

krieg is french codded not german
They are called the Death Korp of Krieg. That's clearly Imperial German and their uniforms, tactics and language are very clearly German. Now there is a Napoleonic French inspired regiment somewhere but I can't remember what their name was.

its an amalgamation: the helmet is a mix of french and german, the gasmask is british, the lasgun is german, breastplate and longcoat are french
