I'm actually planning on making some leather dice trays for my group. This is the 1st video I've found that shows the steps step by step..., mistakes included. I have saved this to my view later list for when get started on making them. Thank you.
That turned out amazing! great job. What is the leather that you used. It looks fairly thin and flexible. I'm considering making component trays using this technique but I've shied away from leather because it get so thick. Also I hope the gift went over well, I know I would have loved something like that!
Hi Andrew - sorry for the suuuper-long response time, not used to getting comments :P the leather is a very thin, very flexible "glove leather" kind of thing for the inside, and a slightly thicker nubuck-ish leather for the outside. I don't know more about the types I'm afraid, but you can make something very flexible with those thin types of leather. The gift went over amazingly well - she tells me her D&D circle all love it & it's considered lucky :)
