What about the rest? 😢 you got me hooked up just like with the BCS S6 and then I'm sad that the things i'm most curious about are nowhere to be found 😂
@@TheLetterH111 You're right, without watching the show some flashbacks wouldn't have the same impact, but the beauty of some movies are when it's up to interpretation. Any person with half a brain can still follow the plot
@ReelToScreen errr no. The film provides basically no context to anything that happens in the story other than brief snippets of news footage. A viewer who hadnt seen breaking bad would not know who mike, todd, walt, ed, badger and skinny pete, jane or "the kid" (brock) were, because the film doesnt establish their characters, it assumes you know who they are. The only characters the film does establish are the welders and arguably jesse's parents. A new viewer would not understand any of the flashbacks, barely understand why jesse was imprisoned in the first place or why he's different to jesse in other flashbacks, not to mention the subtext of the film would be completely lost. Theres really nothing standalone about it, breaking bad is required viewing And yeah okay a viewer could follow the basic plot but wouldnt get anything else out of it
Oh man, the scene where Skinny Pete tells Jesse that he's his hero and s**t made me cry. That was so sweet and awkward and heartfelt.
The reason we all love BB is the character development and the thought that went into the writing!
I love Vince's comment on director's cuts being self indulgent, though I'm sure we would all love to see it
I would watch it for sure!!
Been anxiously awaiting this one. Thank you all for these fabulous commentaries.
Its so insane to imagine what gets cut from the scripts and films. I couldn't imagine shooting Vinces ideas, theyre such big ideas
I honestly like that it’s only the two of you
Thank the lords for this channel
HN, so glad a legend like you appreciates this channel too
Skinny Pete getting the Camino was such a brilliant scene.
3:43 THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!
These are great. I can't imagine the editing that went into them. Thanks for making this!
I absolutely need the 3 hour version
RELEASE THE VINCE-CUT!!!
We need the 3 hour version.
Incredible movie!
My idea for El Camino 2 => Jesse & Skylar move in together and re-establishes the Meth Empire with Skinny Pete, Badger, and Walt Jr.
Not gonna work how they hell would they get in contact without the government knowing
You’re a genius. 😂
no.

"Yeaaahuyh" - Bravo Vince
I only just noticed how the El Camino with the topper really resembles a hearse!
we need the directors cut

This movie will always be rad 🤌🏻
Why does Paul look like a crazed dunwall survivor in his little icon there
Gotta be honest. I didn't feel like the film was worth watching BUT its still very good, its just that both shows set the bar incredibly high.
I like the fact that it works as a standalone movie, some references to the show. it also felt like a modern and grittier POV on the BB universe
How does it work as a standalone? Nearly half the runtime is flashbacks to things the viewer would have zero context for without watching breaking bad

Where is this from? Was this on the dvd release? Can it be found online? I found both insider podcasts but this is not the same thing.
This is from DVD Extras, like Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul.
@@MoviesFlicker ah, so that's why i can't find it lol. Thanks for the answer and thanks for sharing these with us!

As much as I like the character Jesse, Aaron is pretty lousy at commentary
