My favorite thing about Vince Gilligan is that in every single interview he goes out of his way to constantly credit the cast, crew, and writers for how good a show breaking bad was. He never once takes all the credit.
Vince Gilligan is the only creator I know of that is basically just as famous as the cast of his Breaking Bad centered projects. I love it, he absolutely deserves it.
I have to agree. That may just be the most riveting hour of anything ive ever seen. May sound odd but the only thing more riveting was watching 9/11 unfold as the world watched.
I’ve got no worries about this movie since Vince Gilligan is making it, I’m convinced he’s one of those guys that you can’t go wrong with after how good better call Saul ended up being.
As long as he's involved, the franchise will never be milked. If he and the crew don't have any ideas to go with, the franchise is done. If they come up with something, it continues. I think what's most amazing is how realistic he is with this. He knows he can ruin it with one wrong move, but I get the idea he's not closed off to making more if the character development is there. He just can't see past this one yet.
Vince Gilligan...the man possesses THE highest rated scripted TV series (barring miniseries) of all time and is by far most humble of any creator of any media I’ve ever seen. Yeah there will clearly be walt/jesse flashback scenes, seemed even more obvious when Vince tensed up and didn't want to give an answer when asked if Walter White would appear in any form in the movie
Saul will also be in it too likely as part of a flash back or his Gene cover. Bob Odenkirk was asked at the Emmy's whether he would be in, and he said "I can't tell you!" in a comedic way.
Thing is it was a question Vince could only answer one way, he wasn't going to say well he survived as it would of given it away. He also wouldn't have said let's see he maybe or may not be again people would have said well he must be then, only thing he could say was yes his dead then that puts an end to the questions. When asked does he make an appearance in the Movie Vince didn't answer because he didn't want to give it away. it's 50/50 with people wanting him to survive and people wanting him to be dead. Problem with him surviving is it will take away the epic last scene when Walt lays on the floor in the Lab dead.
