His life was always held in someone elses hands. But now he is a master of his own journey. I hope he was able to live a happy life in Alaska.
That's not true. Jessy was a production of his own ego and lack of self-power for doing anything in his life. Probably bad upbringing helped, as it usually does in those situations. He had a home, accepting parents, and potential for great future. He chose his own road.

I wish they would have left the scene in of Todd driving Jesse to his apartment so they can dispose of his cleaning lady’s body. The way Jesse looks out the window, watching people do ordinary things, just living their lives, was so poignant because Jesse can’t. He’s being held against his will. It made me think of how much we take for granted. Another scene I wish they had left in is where Ed tells Jesse to give him the gun please and he says, “Whatever happens from here on out, you won’t need it anymore.” I love that line. To me it means that Jesse’s ordeal is over. Ed is promising that Jesse’s life is going to change from the chaos and stress he’s been enduring to something more quiet, peaceful and normal and Ed is going to help him get there.
In the todd driving jesse scene, they pass by multiple things seen in BrBa. The bench, which is where the infamous deal went down with James Edward Kilkelly. Dog House, a popular place to buy drugs, and where Jesse bought his first gun. They also drive past two Church kids on bikes, as a throwback to the time Jesse thought two mobsters came knocking on his door to kill him, when it was only 2 church boys spreading the gospel. That whole driving scene they keep on passing by multiple iconic BrBa locations and references.

Breaking Bad, BCS and El Camino are a trilogy in the truest sense of the word. Walt dies, Saul goes to Jail, and Jesse escapes. And what is interesting is all three of them accept their fates after also accepting responsibility for their actions.
It’s sad that they deleted the last scene of Ed taking Jesse in . . . Although it does feel somewhat unnecessary an inclusion it would have been nice if Mike’s advice / positive influence in planting the idea of Alaska into Jesse’s head had been affirmed.
They should've left the scene with Skinny Pete rehearsing what he's gonna say to the cops in, only for them to pull up right after. That's the truth, the cops IN ORDER would go to Jesse's house, his parents house, and then his known associates (Badger and Skinny Pete's) houses.

The pool cover scene is classic BB cinematography. The pool is in the foreground the entire time, but you don't notice it until they want you to.
I would have left all of these in, they're wonderful and as thoughtful as the rest of the film and shows are.
