Presidents have immunity in their core constitutional duties and the presumption, not the actual right, of immunity for official actions. Unoffocial actions are also called out as not being legal. Sen. Sheldon is definitely one of the good guys. I'm not American or aligned to any political movement. If I were to pick a winner here, it's MAGA. If I were to pick a loser, It's America. The cause of the problem was too much pride. Too much belief in the greatness of America and it's institutions. Too much faith in those in power to do the right thing, eventually. Now it's too late. MAGA has taken this pride, this faith and they have turkey slapped the entire nation with it. As I understand it now, the only way out is to reform SCOTUS. The only way to reform SCOTUS is for the Dems to win the election in a landslide thus granting them full control of all of the legislative tools required to reform SCOTUS. We know from how close the polls are that a landslide victory is unlikely. We know from MAGA that they would not accept a dems election win. So the goose is cooked. A full on turkey slap followed by a cooked goose.

Don't forget Trump lost the popular vote in 2016. The electoral college favors the GOP, & they did lots of gerrymandering in the 1990s, & all this together means MAGAts aren't as numerous as they like to think.
In most presidential elections about 40% of us vote. That doubled MAGA's voting power in 2016. In 2020 60% of us turned out to vote; more than usual because we were scared Trump might win.

FWIW, SCOTUS itself isn't codified in the constitution, but to change it we need to get rid of the MAGA majority in the house. To crush this SCOTUS we need a blue wave that'll take both houses, & the presidency.

Some of the Independents and Republicans were turned off that Trump would go that far. They need to read project 2025 to see what Trump has planned for our future. Then, they could watch Biden's State of the Union address and hear his plans to help more Americans in the future. He has some great ideas. Let's get him the House and Senate majorities and see what he can do.

A dictator doesn't have checks or balances. The RNC is spending nothing on electing senators or house candidates, but rather, those candidates have to give a portion (15%?) of their funds to Trump. Ya know why? If Trump, or any Republican, gets back in the Whitehouse, Congress won't mean shit.
SCOTUS can overturn their rulings, as they did with Roe, but it takes a change-up in the court itself. We need Democrats to prevail in November, so more liberals can be appointed when openings come up.

How is it that a person that rises to the Supreme Court can blatantly and repeatedly violate their oath to defend and uphold the constitution, and also violate their oath to be impartial regarding their rulings on the rich and the poor, and not be held accountable to the citizens of this country????
Why are we obligated to follow the rulings of a court where these justices have disqualified themselves?? And why are we to accept their interpretation of article 3 of the 14th amendment. Trump clearly should not be on the ballot and I think any fourth grader reading article 3 of the 14th would agree. So Trump has disqualified himself from running for office. Samuel Alito, Clarence, Thomas, and for being complicit, John Roberts have all disqualified themselves. In my mind, the DOJ, if it’s to uphold justice, should March into the Supreme Court and remove or arrest these three individuals pending trial for treason or for violating their oaths to 🇺🇸!!

What happens when a ruling is made about something that is not a state right , a constitutional right or privilege and is based on criminal actions ?
You mean like starting an insurrection in an attempt to over throw the government, or stealing classified documents and refusing to return them,or setting up a catch and kill scheme like trump and David pecker did for the 2016' election, or just committing any other crimes you want. Yea seems that is the case now Unbelievable.
What can be done to fix this problem?

Article 3 section 2 of the constitution gives Congress the power to make regulations and exceptions for Supreme Court jurisdiction.
Quoted:
“In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make.”
A democratic Congress could do this. It would only require a majority, not two thirds.
