- A lot of you enjoyed The £100 Five Guys Challenge, so I thought I'd do something similar today with one of my favourite childhood restaurants...TGI Friday's!
The original idea was £100 of TGI Friday's grub, just for a laugh, but it quickly morphed into a full menu challenge...meaning we've got one order of every item from the Friday's UK take-out menu (excluding the kid's menu and the drinks menu of course).
It's an old-school video tonight, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless and I'll catch you for the next one!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Ahoy hoy folks! Tonight’s video is just a little bit of fun. I know a lot of people really enjoyed the £100 Five Guys video, so I thought I’d do something similar with TGI Friday’s. It quickly turned into a full menu challenge, which is no bad thing…it’s been a little while after all.
For all the people who’ve been asking about the studio; relax, it’s still there and I’m sure I’ll be back there soon. It’s just been a lot of fun to get back out on the road after 18 months of sporadic lockdown. Thanks for tuning in again and I’ll catch you on Thursday for the next! Hugs, BMF :)

You initially got lemon with fish in case you swallowed a bone, biting the lemon would introduce the acid that could help break down the fish bone. I think that has gotten forgotten and now added with all sorts of fish food, goes nice anyway. Great job

@@kcmres I can't confirm what they said about the bones, but definitely can that lemon is great on fish. Even cheap frozen fish from the grocery store is better with lemon juice. Sorry, I just love it so much I had to comment about it.
Beard why don't you invest in a large hot-tray to keep your food warm during home binges?
That and one of the delivery bags pizza guys use to keep the pizza warm while he drives the food home.

I've thought the same thing, you can set some of the good ones to a 'warming' feature that doesn't keep it slowly cooking over time, just keeps it at the right temperature as you would normally get it fresh from the restaurant. A lot of newer ovens have the same feature too, along with plate warming and specific cooking features!
I like this room with a wide lens and the background neons and game console. Much better than your studio. This feels homely like a friend's house ❤️👍😎

Lol. I nearly lost it when I watched him eat the shrimp tails. I know someone else that eats them and I look at them like they’re crazy
for some reason when it comes to food (stuff youd actually eat not like...excrement) the least delicious parts seem to have the most nutrition, organs from cows, eyes from fish, heck, the skin of oranges. i could go on but yeah
I mean when they come in their "natural" form (i guess as part of sushi) i wouldnt eat the tails either but when the whole thing is fried it never even occured to me there were still parts that should be left aside 😂😂

Applied for a job as a line cook when TGI Friday’s came to Denmark. Didn’t get a reply. And I’m so petty that I don’t want to visit their restaurants, just because of that 😂

It truly is one of the greatest tv shows ever made, i had the limited edition photobook dvd collection that i played so much the lazer damaged the disks lol. Seasons 3, 5 and 6 were all outstanding. Proper smeghead me 😂

Absolutely. We love Sister Beard, too! And the Jack Daniels rib and shrimp is my favorite meal out of all the restaurants in America. I am so jealous right now.
TGIs on the weekend as a kid in Reading. Made you feel like a rockstar when the moctails came out and the place was loud as hell. The centre section was awash with cool people drinking long drinks and the music was always pumping. Good times.

I enjoyed the video- I miss TGI Fridays here - they closed the ones in my area. So sorry you didn't get to travel for the Nathan's contest here in the states but it gives you a chance to prepare even more for next year and take first place! The sweet glaze burger should be the “jack Daniels burger”. That’s my absolute favorite burger on the planet. Something went very wrong for that not to be a fantastic burger. Thanks for the video man!!

I used to work for Fridays in Oklahoma city, and I LOVED the Jack Daniel's glazed Flat Iron Steak, and JD wings..... OMG that was the best of the best, also we had fried Green Beans, with a Wasabi Ranch that just Nailed everything it was on

The shell is mostly made of the protein glucosamine and is a healthy consumable. I prefer fried tails as they crunch apart easier and generally pass on boiled/steamed.
Are we gonna see more challenges done at the new space you showed us a while back ? Haven't seen an episode with you there for a while now.

I eat the shrimp tail if it's crispy, sometimes it's tough to bite into. It's usually edible and quite nice when fried. Otherwise, it's easy to just discard when it's like boiled, instead.

Came to prominence in Covent Garden in the UK around 1989/89. There was a place called Calendars in Birmingham same sort of thing (Called American Bistro) and actually openned before TGI's. It was franchised by Whitbread PLC firstly and was much better then than it is now truly. Also the us version was in the movie Coktail with Tom Cruise - the 'bar flairing' of the bartenders was a first in the UK.

Yes sister Beard is always welcome in my opinion and I personally want to see her in another video and in more videos in general. But I’m surprised you enjoyed the vegan burger more than the actual meat burgers! Though it probably would have tasted better when it’s warm depending on how long it’s transported for. thanks for sharing

I've always disgusted my friends because I also eat shrimp tails. However, I also do love mushrooms and presently have two quarts of home growing alfalfa sprouts going at my sink !!!

TGI Fridays after going to the cinema is a good childhood memory of mine
I went to TGI Friday's earlier today and it was totally great
We went to TGI Fridays in Leicestershire Square just after lockdown ended. They were obviously struggling with staff shortages etc and the food took almost 3/4 of an hour to arrive and we were in a bit of a hurry. The manager was a great guy and he gave us the food for free because we had knocked back so many Long Island iced teas, which I have to say were delicious and potent so…….all good 👍🏻
