From my own personal experience even after adding the seal kit and pulling the cap down very tight I would recommend either using 1/4" locknuts on top of the rod coupling or at the very least another 1/4" nut to double nut lock the coupling that comes with the cap. For about 6 months I didn't see any light between the bed and the cap and then I did. I checked and the coupling was not nearly as tight as I believed it to have been 6 months earlier. I can't believe it was that loose 6 months ago. I have tightened the couplings once again and used lock nuts above the coupling to hopefully keep it very tight in the future. I realize there is a lot of vibration and hopefully this will keep it very tight in the future despite the extreme vibration. I want mine very tight and dust and water proof as I would imagine most everyone would.
Does polaris or anyone make a locking handle for the tailgate? If the tailgate is unlockable it makes the topper being locked kinda of useless. Kinda like locking your doors with your windows down.
Does this cap come with a seal kit, I see light between the bed sides and the cap in the video on the side of the box you were standing on. I run a lot of gravel roads and need a cap that seals up good, thanks.

Thank you for the helpful tips!
I have one and it doesn't drop in as easily, damn near need an elephant to stand on it to get it in.
Do you make this for a Polaris Ranger 570 midsize?
Just bought boots and gloves off your site🙌🏼
Awesome! Thanks for shopping with us.
Midsize?

seems like they could of had the topper have a lip that went over the tailgate a few inches then the lock would do something

Yes it does. We just didn't put it on in the video so that we could still sell it as new. But it does come with a seal kit. - Chase
