@@lnxSy it's not a problem of understanding, it's a problem of misunderstanding. prank calls are a thing and "the phone called by itself" would sound ridiculous to most. So although the words are explaining a different story, the situation tells a different one.

Pretty sure with iPhones, it’s holding the power button down. It got stuck, and automatically did it; you can see it was impossible to cancel even though it wasn’t being pressed down anymore.

This is actually normal bc in the settings, there is something called emergency SOS and there are options and one of them is “Call with 5 presses” and since he pressed it over 5 times, the emergency SOS thing happened.
I was on my friend’s phone one time and it started calling 999 and i was panicking because i dont use samsung and i figured out how to stop it so that was a *close call*
The same thing happened to my iPhone XR. The lady from 911 was confused just like me.😅
