I remember i used to never use a case and a screen protector. I've broken my ipad screen before but never this badly. I take all my devices with care, cleaning them weekly. If i let my ipad get THIS dirty,im either not using it or im cleaning it myself.

First:take tape and paste it on the port .take tweezers and push it in the port .take the tape off and the charging ports will be clean

i had the ipad 5, and just recently upgraded to the ipad air 4. i am most likely never going to get another ipad case with plastic borders because of how much filth, scratches, and other surprises sneak in there. (there would be a scratched line around were the case border was on my screen protector, not very fun) the other -great- thing about those cases is how easy they come off (not).
just remember to clean your ipad every once in a while, it gets nasty 😭

I normally clean my phone everyday like i bath everyday. A simple wipe with a small towel with alcohol back and front also the case makes you yourself looks clean if your things are clean .
