The tones produced by Gibson and Fender are both equally important in their contributions to guitar music. I wouldn't want either of them removed from the steep history of music that is behind each Instrument.

I like how beautiful it really can sound on the neck, and this is sustain and fullness once again is great. Sometimes I need to cut more through a mix, then I go with Charvel. I noticed that I can’t really even hear the Gibson super well sometimes because it just blends in more. But playing the Charvel by itself, doesn’t sound as good to me, almost like something is missing. They’re just different tools

My mind when I think of Gibson soloists: Jimmy Page, Slash, Angus Young, Joe Perry, BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Ace Frehley, Tony Iommi, David Gilmour (for Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)), Peter Green, Paul Kossoff My mind when I think of Fender soloists: Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Bruce Springsteen (can do some really cool solos when he wants like Born to Run and the High Hopes version of Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom Morello. Some of the most melodic soloing I've ever heard from the Boss), Jimmy Page (on Led Zeppelin I and the solo to Stairway) All things aside, awesome video Danilo and Paul. A lot of great solos, I was surprised there was no Gilmour, Angus or SRV but still loved the variations

I'm very sad this didn't end in the trade off solos at the end of Hotel California. 99% sure it was Don Felder's Double Neck Gibson vs. Joe Walsh's Strat. Great video though!
That crazy train solo got me It was epic and perfectly on point (I'm still more of a fender squire and epiphone guy just think they are reasonable with money)
In my opinion, both of the guitars are well worthwhile in the history of rock, and it does not matter what gear you have, but what riffs you write with it. But if I _had_ to choose... well, Fender gave us the "Comfortably Numb" solo. That wins IMO. :) Great video!
Some of the songs used modulation too like chorus. I hate playing Strat single coils personally because it takes a variety of fuzz or distortion pedals to get enough gain to play singing lead tones that my P90 can’t do with the volume knob.
