@Childish SESH you can unlock street fighter characters through intense grinding that requires months just for a single character so I don't count that.
@Childish SESH Gridning for characters required tens of hours. After fight money "change" things became worse. Now wast majority of income comes from character leveling system which like in RPG is fast at low levels and slows down as you reach higher levels.
This was also the same time where a whole character got removed from international versions and where people didn't actually like having to unlock their favorite character because, y'know, they want to play their favorite character
Can’t have that anymore because FGC cried about it with SF4 & Tournament organizers said it was tedious having to unlock everything before tournaments.
This game was truly one of my favorites 2D fighting games! A marvelous crossover, blending two sets of characters so well, along with awesome tracks and background stages! And Onslaught was such a powerful boss!

That basically tells me they’re still immature at mind. if you liked Sega’s version of the Versus games thats great. If you like the PlayStation’s version of the games then thats cool too but those people really shouldn’t rip on other’s opinions.

I used to rent this game a lot back around 2001-2002. The one problem with the game that I constantly had was every time the loading screen came up for whenever I had to fight Zangief, Morrigan, or Jin, the game would constantly freeze on their load screen. I don't know why it did that. I still liked this game a lot.
I know they're reused sprites, but the full body sprites of the assist characters on the select screen is so weird to look at after playing the arcade & dreamcast version for so long.
Because the programmers made it so that the human version is nerfed. Uploader has a hacked unofficial version of Onslaught and the psionic mind blast and magnetic shockwave in the first form were at will and didnt need the hyper combo animation
Gambit going in MVC1 is still random as hell...when I think of a marvel team I dont see gambit on the front lines...great character but just random as hell.
