No dash cam footage, but as soon as the video is released by Washington State Patrol I can send in my horrible day, which VERY UNFORTUNATELY caused someone else to have a horrible day.
Wed. Jun 19, 2024. I had a seizure, truck crossed over into oncoming at an intersection. Sadly the kid in the other car didn't survive, and by all rights I really shouldn't be here to type this. 2003 Dodge Dakota (v6 4WD) vs 2020 Nissan Versa. The Nissan ramped me into the air and into a roll-over, the left front slamming into the ground effectively split the total impact for me into about half and half, as it sent the front axle assembly about a foot to the passengers side.
If the driver of the Nissan was doing the speed limit, and knowing what I normally drive at, the combined impact speed would be somewhere in the 120-130MPH range. The other guy quite likely died before he could realize that something was happening, while I have my neck, my back, half my ribs on each side and my foot broken. Honestly, right now I feel like he got off luckier than I.
For the record, our family wishes to express our condolences and please understand that while it will never replace your loss we are doing our level best to ensure your family at least gets paid by our insurance.

But in the end, he was still a loser. Crashed his whole car pitting a guy going 45.

@@mcouture8169 nice try. I’ll try to break this down easily, the car prob would’ve slowed down had they stopped chasing. This is well known within law enforcement and some depts even limit chases due to this. The $100k figure doesn’t just come from the car damage, it’s gonna take a whole crew of contractors, equipment, and materials to repair the median barrier. That’s assuming the cop car isn’t totaled. So the $100k figure is fairly conservative tbh. Lastly, I did almost a decade in the military including significant time in the Middle East pre 2014 (if that means anything to you). Got out and made it thru college to a professional job. So not only do I pay my dues out of my wallet each year, I’ve paid my dues with my body over a decade. So, like I began with, nice try.

Don’t do that, hazard lights are not for signaling the end of a traffic queue, they are for signaling a danger. If your hazards are on you are directing people to go around you, not to stop, and you could create a worse situation.
Your passive and active tail and brake lights will suffice if traffic is backing up.

When we arrived there, he tied a rope to my bumper telling me to pull him and keep from doing donuts, so he could ski on the fresh powder using his shoes in the parking lot while I drifted my Caddy around the light poles.
