Ooooozing with talent, good looks and talent with their Blue Eyed soul delivery makes them iconic. I fall in love with Bobby each time I hear him singing. RIP Bobby Lee Hatfield you are missed. 1940-2003 Thanks for your clever review.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to this beautiful song. Your appreciation of musical talent really comes through when you listen to performers.💕
Thank you for playing my Righteous Brothers songs. I was 15 yrs old when they came out with their beautiful music! I'm so glad you appreciate their voices. ❤❤❤
this is a song from the 1945 Broadway musical "Carousel". They do it so well. Bill Medley is still with us. Bobby Hatfield passed away in 2003. These were live performances. No second takes. No auto tunes. An era when singers could actually sing.
The late great Counter Tenor Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers passed away on November 5th, 2003. His 20th year death anniversary will be coming up this November 5th, 2023. He left an indelible impression on the music industry and in people's hearts. Today he is more famous due to his (live) television performance 58 years ago on the Andy Williams show when he sang "Unchained Melody" back in 1965. The performance has been considered by many as the greatest live television performance ever. Great reaction to one of Rock & Rolls greatest duets.
You look great! Don’t worry about it! Very handsome! Both of their voices are so different & stunningly beautiful! Bobby died at 62 yrs. Bill is still here! The scriptures say that the voice of Jesus sounds like the voice of many waters! It is interesting that you would use that analogy. This duo was priceless and has never been duplicated since!
There's a reactor guy called Wings of Pegasus who uses some kind of a voice consolidation thing to track a singer's voice. I've seen him do it with Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. Very cool.
You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel by Cristine Jonhson. . Sinatra in 1945 and Nina Simone 59. And 65 this incrible by the Righteous Brothers. I can only feel the Thunder and Lightning 🤩. Elvis only in 67.
Very sadly, Bobby passed away in 2003, but Bill is still performing with a replacement, Bucky Herd. Bobby passed away from a cocaine-induced heart attack. People, PLEASE don't use drugs.
You need to listen to Bobby Hatfields Summertime and Bill Medleys Georgia. Bobby...also My Prayer, Stay with Me and Ebb Tide. An early Fun one is Little Latin Lupe Lu. Totally different. Later songs Rock and Roll Heaven, Dream On and Give Ir to the People
Not sure how familiar you are with her music, but here is a link to a soulful song from Etta James. I Would Rather Go Blind. th-cam.com/video/u9sq3ME0JHQ/w-d-xo.html. I didn't know about her growing up but have come to really appreciate her talent.💕
They were together from '62 to '68. After they split up Bill had some success as a solo act while Bobby had lesser luck as a single. Bobby partnered with Jimmy Walker (not the 'Dyn-o-Mite!' Jimmy walker), drummer and vocalist from the group 'The Knickerbockers'. They were together for roughly a year or a little more before Walker retired. Bill and Bobby got back together in '74 for basically another 6 year run but in time they reunited for a 3rd run and were on tour when Bobby passed away. Bill has since reformed the Righteous Brothers with Bucky Heard.
When Bill left because he wanted to be a solo artist (1968), Bobby continued the Righteous Brothers by immediately teaming up with Jimmy Walker. They worked together until '72. They recorded one album together, Re-birth. According to Walker, they split because Bobby wanted to take a break. Bobby recorded 2 solo albums (Messin' in Muscle Shoals and The Richard Perry Sessions) between '70 and '72. Only one was released; and, due to internal chaos at the record company, it wasn't promoted and, basically, went under the radar. The second one wasn't completed for unknown reasons, but was released a few years ago. The man had the worst luck with record companies. Both are worth looking into. Bill convinced Bobby to join up again in 1974 and Bill left again in '76. They both worked (maybe on and off?) solo until they regrouped in 1982. They were actually appearing separately in Las Vegas at that time. They continued to perform together until Bobby passed away Nov. 5, 2003. [Bobby Hatfield: The Other Brother A Solo Anthology 1965-1970 CD was released in 2017.] Should have added that in 1969? Bobby recorded songs (some previously recorded and some first time) with interviews for the US Navy's college enlistment promotion. Bobby had been a naval aviator. He also recorded 2 songs for the soundtrack of the movie Zigzag in 1970. He appeared in a made-for-TV movie (a non-singing role), which was the pilot for a series that never happened, The Ballad of Andy Crocker (1969). 😂 Didn't realize I was being sooo long-winded.
Bill left in ‘76 after his ex wife, with whom he was still close, was murdered and he had to raise their young son and couldn’t be on the road all the time. (The murder was solved 41 years later in 2017, in large part to Bill ‘s efforts in working with the police.)@@Aurora-tp3dy
Yes, Bobby died in 2003. Bill Medley’s latest album, Your Heart to Mine: Dedicated to the Blues, was released in 2014. It’s full of great blues standards. Have a listen! Here are two of my favorite tracks. BB King’s Rock Me Baby - th-cam.com/video/Zc5xz4cCDac/w-d-xo.html And a great song Bill wrote, This Will Be the Last Time (I Sing the Blues) - th-cam.com/video/zadNwlPog00/w-d-xo.html Also check out Bill's 2007 album, Damn Near Righteous.
Hi Mugnify :) I watch you reacting a lot and love your reactions. I was 15 years old when most of these guys were just starting out or not out for long. I suggest you consider Roy Orbison. The one I am sending you was released in 1964 and called "Crying" : th-cam.com/video/pra6ezRMejg/w-d-xo.html.
It's funny that I've only ever heard this song because it's one British football fans sing. Spine tingling rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone with the Kop th-cam.com/video/9eWERM6QSys/w-d-xo.html
The Nottingham Forest football team adopted You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling as their song. Here they are serenading Bill Medley who was touring in England at the time. They sang the whole song to him! th-cam.com/video/tN_ZB0oIWl0/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the reaction! If you haven't heard it , Bobby Hatfield's rendition of "Summertime" will vocally blow your socks off. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/J10fKYqFMXU/w-d-xo.html
sorry to say but Bobby Hatfield passed in 2002 he is the one with the high voice, he has been replaced by another singer joining Bill medley the baritone and yes they still perform . the new singer is ok but not nearly as good as Bobbie Hatfield
What the F is the watermark on the display, I thought that it would be the artist, not you, we cannot see the artist just your closet. and you still interfere with the song, WOW, which was in 1964. figure it out before you do your show.
These reaction videos of yours are quite interesting man, can you maybe do a reaction to a great song and funny video by Roots Manuva - Witness the Fitness? 🙏😹👍

Bobby Hatfield, the blond guy, passed away in 2003. Bill Medley is still around and performs the Righteous Brothers’ songs with another guy.
Bucky Herd (sp???) is Bobby's 'replacement', as if anybody can replace Bobby.
Now aint life grand? this is the incredible music youve been missing your whole life. youve barely scratched the surface of the songs awaiting you.
I love seeing the younger people react to the music of their parents and grandparents.
I love Bobby’s voice. Bobby sings Unchained Melody live, beautifully. Bill and Bobby are great together, too.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to this beautiful song. Your appreciation of musical talent really comes through when you listen to performers.💕
Remember these guys. Unchained Melody was my favorite song back then. RiP Bobby Hatfield.
Thank you for playing my Righteous Brothers songs. I was 15 yrs old when they came out with their beautiful music! I'm so glad you appreciate their voices. ❤❤❤
They always sounded better Live !!!!
Bobby Hatfield is so amazing. He’s the blonde one. His partner is good and they are great duo but Bobby as a soloist creates masterpieces.
Seductive. These voices are Seductive. 🥰
The best of the best!!!! Our generation had great talent.

Well, I was thinking of a old movie? I was thinking Don Quixote? Maybe it's something else. 😮
@@timmyholland8510 The movie was made in 1956 with Shirley Jones and Gordon MacRae.

Holy sh#@! Incredible
That was so fine
É tão gratificante ver em 2023 jovens a admirar espantados a incrível qualidade das músicas e cantores da minha juventude. Parabéns pelo bom gosto ❤
Listen to drean on, summertime, somewhere, and Youve lost that loving feeling. There are many and all great.
Its a prayer ❤
After Bobby passed, Bill kept the Righteous name with a new partner and still performs
One of my favorites is Summertime, it;s Bobby only singing this one. On their albums they each did a solo. They’re good alone and together.
You look great! Don’t worry about it! Very handsome!

Bobby Hatfield, the high voiced one, died in 2003. The other one still performs sometimes

Remember, there was no audio help ... as most (if not all) "singers" get today. These are there unehanced natural voices.
Watch Liverpool sing this their anthem ❤
