They sang together off and on for 41 years. Truly the best duo ever in my opinion as well. I enjoy watching your reactions. Thank you Stan.

Love how you love this duo. You said exactly how I feel about both of them. Their solos are great and I'm wowed by their amazing beautiful soulful voices but put their voices together and it's magic.

50 some years later, this song still gives me the chills! I believe that Elvis also sang this song on one of his Gospel albums. Powerful song!

Those two always made every song an event. I love people who do that. Is why I love Céline Dion.

Groot, l love this song and no one does it better than them.
But, listen again and watch Bill flinch when Bobby hits that high note at the end. 😂

You've lost that loving feeling was written for them by Barry Mann and Cynthia Wilde. When they performed it they were both only 24 years old.

Stan, I was so lucky to see these guys sing this beautiful song on the Ed Sullivan show. Yes, I am 75 yrs and so happy to have every vinyl record album they made in my collection. These guys will not disappoint you when they perform. It's too bad we lost Bobby Hatfield. ❤❤❤

Hall and Oats are in their same league. Sarah Smiles, She's Gone, Maneater. Those are iconic from the next generation of Blue-Eyed Soul.

It’s great to see this legendary duo still appreciated. I saw Bill Medley in concert 3 months ago. He sang with his daughter and his new partner- great voices all around. And Bill had me swooning. At 83, he’s still got IT in abundance! Take a look at his Grammy award song with Jennifer Warnes, I’ve Had the Time of My Life th-cam.com/video/wVSEX2azwjE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kLcpC7ZKmI8ikjjF. Also, watch him with the Blossoms in Brown Eyed Woman th-cam.com/video/oJ1VwfedfAY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Hs1qZdecuQp9TVdX. There’s also a great jam with Bobby and the Blossoms, Night Time is the Right Time th-cam.com/video/uM-4CUzpjJU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DH3uhi1IVkOKy7TF

Rolling Stone magazine puts the Everly Brothers as the best duo ever, i disagree it should be the Righteous Brothers. Soul and Inspiration and For once in my Life are exceptionally good. Bill did a great solo in 68 at the Playboy Club. Its Brown Eyed Woman with the background singers The Blossoms. The video is family friendly. Its a gem

@MB-pw9mf I totally agree with you. The Righteous Brothers should have been the number one duo . They have so much more range and versatility in their singing! I think Rolling Stone Magazine had something against them for some reason because they had the Brothers rated 16th on their list!

I agree with you. Even if the Everly Brothers were #1 by Rolling Stone Magazine, maybe partly because they were singing first, the Righteous Brothers with their range and versatility and also their abilities and qualities should have been rated higher than #16! Not only was Bobby Hatfield underrated generally, but the Righteous Brothers were underrated by many.

@@marymichael1211 I have come to the conclusion that the reason the Righteous Brothers weren't number one was they only had two number one hits. If they hadn't had the difficulties with record companies they probably would have had more. But the history making events that they had! Starting with them being the first white act to have a number one Rhythm and Blues song! They open the door for other white acts into that genre. The were pioneers there! Second, having the most played song in the 20th century ( You've Lost that Lovin'Feelin). Third, They were the first Rock and Roll act to perform in Los Vegas. Fourth, they are the only act to have two versions of the same song in the top 20 of the Billboard charts at the same time ( Unchained Melody in 1990-91). The 1965 version peaked at number 13 and the 1990 version hit number 19. Unchained Melody was also number one world wide that year. Fifth, they were the opening act for the first American Beatles tour. And for the Rolling Stones as well. And at that time the. . Righteous Brothers weren't well known yet! Sixth , they have had their songs in several movies.
So I don't know how all of that couldn't have made up for the lack of number one hits!

Well said! -- information and interpretation! I know all of those facts except that "Unchained Melody" was number one worldwide in 1990. I've also thought that having "only" two number one hits was a major factor. While it hurts that I never saw my favorite singer Bobby Hatfield live, it's evident by comments that their shows were memorable personable exciting experiences when they performed extensively and especially during the 1990s to 2003 when Bobby left his life. It almost seems that their individual uniqueness had them "fall between the cracks" and genres, as if they weren't in the "culturally correct" context for their belated induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the "cool" Rolling Stone" magazine. Maybe Bobby's"Unchained Melody" on TH-cam and Bill's successful touring over the years is reviving and activating interest and love for their music. I almost feel that some of the"fans" are in a "movement" with our love to do so. Your comment is an excellent synthesis which can be repeated elsewhere. 🎶✨

@@marymichael1211 I too wish I could have seen Bobby perform in person. Love him! The Righteous Brothers were so impactful in people's lives! During the Vietnam war, Bobby dedicated Unchained Melody to the soldiers going over to fight in that war. Many of them and their wives had told him how the song had helped them get through that time.
As far as their late induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in Bill's book he said they were told by several people that Phil Spector didn't want them in ( he had great influence on the Hall of Fame) because it would mean they were great artists not just Spector puppets. It's been heartening to see on TH-cam so many people of the younger generation loving Bobby's Unchained Melody and the Righteous Brothers music!
To qualify my comment about Unchained Melody was number one world wide,it was number one in eight foreign countries including the UK and number one on the US Adult Contemporary Chart in 1990-91.
