I find it interesting, that everyone is surprised at you moving into management and development. One only has to look at your passion for the game to understand your current direction. Tobin, you have it backwards. If you want world class players, you can not use a cookie cutter program where every player is "speaking the same language seeing the same things..." Think about why your play stands out, why is it that you bring something to the team, what is it that you bring? Smart and technical, technically smart - raise the level of Soccer I.Q. There is only one youth program in America that does this. There is NO one way to play the game.

Smart, technical play requires you to see the gaps--use the gaps to your advantage, close the gaps when the opposition has the ball. If Tobin can instill that vision in the young players, there is no limit for them. Once the young player has developed their peak skill set, vision, and attitude, the soccer game will ultimately become an expression of their individual personalities.
