A laughed and thought of you the other day as I was coming out of a restaurant. Two younger men were walking in and I noticed their shirts and shoes. One guy was wearing a dark shirt, light shirts and white shoes. The other was wearing a light shirt, dark shorts, and dark shoes. They were exactly opposite of what you suggested in the “Looking Better Than Other Guys” video.

Very good interview! Wish it was longer. Very solid advice. My advice from speaking from experience is you need to change your mindset first, then you need to watch what you put in to your body & brain. Positive mindset. If you are fat no clothes will look good on you. Eat better, if you feel like going to the gym then start doing that. Not even a Brioni suit will look good on your fat ass. Once you clean yourself up go buy new clothes according to your budget. Yes high end clothes are usually better with fit and fabric. I consider them an investment so I don’t get fat and can’t fit in to my beautiful new clothes. Dating apps do work but they are extra work. You can have a dating app & go meet people irl. You can have both, it’s just an extra tool in your tool box. Just recently went on a date off an app, great date and also 13 years younger than me. You need to work on yourself mentally & physically. Most people look like the tide just washed them in. The way you feel & look on the outside is a projection. Be your best everyday.

But if you are muscular, you will have a hard time finding clothes that fit you well - especially trousers and jackets. You'll have to size up to fit your shoulders, arms, and thighs in the clothes, and then everything will be too long. You'll have to get all your sleeves and pant legs shortened at the tailor's. So no, more physical training does not always mean better fitting clothes.
It certainly would be appreciated to have a part 2 video with Alicia. My question would be: Why do women have such a long list of what a man has to offer in a relationship, but they never say what they bring to a relationship?
John /Alicia: Excellent conversation. The importance of combining styling with dating is key. Can you talk about why both some men and women have become super relaxed (lazy ) with how they dress today. How does that affect relationships long term?

Collared shirts (including polo shirts) will help draw attention away from the belly area and to the face. Also jackets such as bomber jackets, trucker jackets and Harrington jackets worn unzipped or unbuttoned will help build other areas like the shoulders and draw attention away from the mid section plus give you a great layering effect with your clothes.
I think it’s important and helpful to get an expert’s opinion of the opposite sex. Although I am happy in my relationship, I think it’s still helpful to others who aren’t. I personally DO recommend online sites, just not the free ones. Why on earth are you on a free dating site? So you can meet other cheap people? If you’re dating efforts aren’t worth a few dollars and they’re dating efforts are not worth a few dollars why even bother? So 2 cheap people can see if they work out?! Yeah… who’s going to pay for the first date? And guys, if you think to yourself that each will pay for their own way… You are in the wrong ballpark.
some of the paid dating sites are scams. as they are full of bots, no real women. so guys should be weary of this, i don't blame them one bit for that.
