      Why didn't you ask him
did he take or want to take any legal action against that family
Sometimes use your brain and ask some useful and perfect questions
Show the face of that husband and wife so who are close to them may know how dangerous they are and also add the audio of that call aryan talking about
If the charges are fully in his favour
He has right to sue them
But I think his lawyer did make a deal with that family to take back the case otherwise ready to face the consequences
      May this happened

@@blueberries2910 I think he had an F1 visa because he mentions about his university reporting to immigration department after few days of not reporting. Actually this is the policy for international students in the US. Interms of University when i searched the name "San Marcos University" it says Texas State University so I will give him benefit of the doubt and call it this university. But the biggest questions I have is: 1. What were his source of funds for a year in his I-20 and 2. Who paid for his flight ticket?

Let's be honest and not give him a pat on his back yet, he went to US unprepared without money to pay for his education, broke the U.S. laws by working illegally, which they take very seriously, got himself arrested, and got himself deported with a 10-year ban from entering the U.S. in the future.

I came to UK as a student. When I came, no one, I mean not even my cousins, grand mother etc back in the country knew about it. In the UK, no one knew that I am coming. My father told one of his friend who didn't turn up at the airport to pick me up. I had burnt my boats and was ready to live on the roads but never ever went to any friend or relative. My father died 1 month after I came to UK so the only support I had was lost. I was on my own, all alone, saw the real face of this world, always kept my confidential information secret and went through the rivers of fire. Where there were evil souls, I also found some amazing good souls. Now here I am after 20yrs, with master degree from UK working at the senior-level management position in the central government. Every success has a brutal past which helps you get up the ladder of success.

I had thought that an Indian would behave nicely with me but he was so much insecure with my presence in the team and i dont know why. But I had sorted out things with him and later learnt that he was jealous and offended that why a young boy was hired to a bigger position than him and gets more salary😅

One comment Aryan made was that Indians take advantage and EXPLOIT other Indians. I have lived in USA for the past 50 years. Living the American Dream. In those 50 years I have witnessed many Indians get exploited by our own people. We have been brought up to trust and respect elders- a huge mistake. My own relative complained to immigration when I was in Canada as a student. Anyway, I was lucky that I had proper documentation to live and work there. Jealousy and envy of your success affects the friends and relatives, who are very close to you. They don’t want you to be better off than they are. We tried to help many individuals because we were doing well. Those same people cheated us and became our competitor. I trusted him. My fault. My stupidity. However, I forgive him. KISMAT is everything. Heaven and hell is right here on this earth whatever good things you have done, you will be rewarded sooner or later and those who have cheated others, you will see them suffering right before your eyes.

My father told me upfront that he cannot support my US education. I grinded for 3 years and then got a full scholarship for my master's. Some people think they don't have to pay the piper and they take up any 'too good to be true' deal in front of them. I will never send my kid to a different state in India let alone a different country trusting a friend or a relative.

    Suggestion to students:
When you come to US you need to think “Who brought me to US?”. The answer is “your college”, or “your employer” whatever may be the case. So everything you need to ask your college, also report to them what is happening, not relatives. Also keep in touch of other students who are doing the same course.

    • @anocri
      @anocri 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The victim's message was correct. Don't depend on anyone or any organization. If you go to US or another country for education, go with enough money to complete your education. Don't go with a mindset that you will rely on someone else or work cash jobs to pay for your education, which is impossible. If you go for a job, make sure you have (i.e., the employer has or finds) a job/project. College did not bring him. He brought himself here. The college will kick him out if he (i.e., the student) does not pay the tuition fee before the deadline for a semester. The college will not keep a non-paying student for one semester, unless the student also has some sort of a scholarship or teaching assistantship (TA).

no country cares about what your circumstances are, the law is the law. if you were trafficked then you can claim asylum. The problem with indians is that they dont do enough research and hindu society is such that you just have to listen to what elders say. if the elder uncle tells a young girl to come sit on his lap she must do it, no thinking. But in the real world once youre 18, they expect you to have some brains. You cant be like my uncle told me this, i didnt know about that blah blah. I know of students who came to UK, didnt study and were thrown out of the course because they couldnt even manage to shop, cook and clean for themselves. That is the state of children in india. The'yre basically kids till their parents die because all decisions are made by the parents

It’s not possible, unless on a tourist visa. Either it will be a college or a job. So you need to report to them all the time. Also keeping company of friends is a good idea. Don’t be alone like the victim. And also don’t listen to one person. Listen to many suggestions from different people like international students, local students, faculty etc

It is a very very painful and traumatic episode of this courageous young man. He has learnt a lot in his young age which has made him a strong and brave person. This innocent young person should use this traumatic experience in a positive manner to develope his skills to be a successful, kind, fare, respectful, caring person without any prejudice. God helped him through his wise and intelligent sister to protect him and proved that he is an innocent person.
    This is a BIG thing.

Being a former international student at Uni of Houston, i have learned and experienced few things that might help a new kid:
1- Never ever think to drop any semester.( Spring and fall sem mandatory). As student can take off for 3.5 months in summer for a visit back or get an extra job. But Spring and Fall. Nopes.
2- 12 credit hours per semester is mandatory for under grad programs for international students. (12 hr means 4 courses of 3 cr hrs each).
3- if the international student councilor reports to USCIS that you are not registered at school (university) at fall or spring, or taking less than 12 hrs, You are in bigggg trouble. Trust me they report it quite often without asking or letting u know.
3- If for any reason, you can maintain your 12 credit hr status ( write a letter to uscis ASAP about the reasons). USCIS IS VERY LENIENT IF YOU HAVE A LEGIT REASON. For eg : your family back in India is facing hardship and cant afford to send money in this semester etc.
I must say u still had some options to stay there even after your jail time and deportation orders. But again, jo hota hai achay ksy liye hi hota hsi, its good u are back with family.

His story is sad. But it raises some questions too, how can you expect someone to pay your college fees, take care of your accommodation and food. You start earning 3000 dollars per month(which most of the engineers working in india do not get paid), which is a very good amount when your expenses on food and rent are zero.
Went there to study and decided to not to report to the college on the very second day.
Yes, your relatives/family friends (whatever they are) did a horrible thing to you, which they would have paid for if you fought them legally.
You had an American dream, that's fine but then you should always research and stop believing someone blindly.
Lastly, I have nothing personal against this guy, just pointed out what I felt and I hope this guy does very good in his life, he had a very tough time and must have learnt some life lessons. Criticism is always invited.
    Thanks

The last thing he said " Indians put fellow Indians in trouble". I am living in US for last 7 years and with God's grace nothing of this happened to me just because I have been following what he said. You don't have to fear an American but deal with an Indian with Caution. Sad to say but it's true an Indian will cause trouble to another Indian.

@@rohitmor6240 First of all there is nothing called a gun culture in America. The second amendment gives the right to bear arms but it comes with a lot of restrictions however many a times the law is not followed just like we drive in India without seatbelt and it is illegal but you won't see anyone doing it here. The severity of not following both the law might be lose of life.
I am robbed only one time, when I first arrived in USA the taxi driver took $ 78 from me to drive me around 8 miles which should cost me around $20, the driver was an Indian. I am not trying to say Indians are bad but Indians are not that great to fellow Indians in a foreign land. It is a bitter truth.

Also. I'm surprised he went to US in the hope that some distant relative will bear all his expenses when all his parents could afford was a visa and air ticket. Just to let everyone know, this story is not shown to get sympathy or file a case against those people, I can very well expose them and tell their background to anyone and everyone, but the point of this whole video was to spread awareness among people that, don't trust someone blindly, even if it is your blood relation and be careful about everything, your parents are not always sweet to you, they scold you and guide you through the right path, but if someone is always being sweet to you then there is something sour in it that you can't taste, which you will but it would be very late till then. Now exposing them is just going to create a fuss out of everything, there are thousands of them, we can't point everyone out, we need to be careful and keep our eyes and ears open all the time, but if it'll come to exposing them, then I surely will someday with all proofs and background I have of them as they are living as a refuggee there, and I've told it all to immigrations and customs enforcement which will surely take an action against them one day. God Bless You all who undertstood me and support me, and to the rest of the people, I wish god gives you sense🙏🏻

I never stayed with relatives instead prefered to stay with friends on sharing basis and made my own way. But I have seen many, especially your age kids become easy prey for them and they exploit on their own wish and take advantage of innocence. You have seen a lot even though you choose to spread awareness that depicts good upbringing from your parents and inner positivity. I advise whoever plan for the USA wait till at least graduation. I understand your personal story but it is not fair to generalize your experience to everyone else. Saying that we shouldn’t trust family is like saying we should lead a life where we are skeptical of everyone and everything. I wouldn’t be where I am in life without the help of my family, and I am not talking immediate family. From providing emotional support to huge financial support without a second ( I had a cousin loan me $25,000 without asking a second question when I needed it and I didn’t even have to pay him back, just had to forward the loan to an other cousin when he needed it - all of this for educational purposes). So the gist is, so people are bad and some people are good. We need to be careful in judging people without having a general bias either way. Don’t blindly trust and don’t blindly mistrust everyone. It will be a miserable life if doubtful of everyone and everything.

The message from the video should be to do your research before setting foot in any foreign country. There is no dearth of information esp in this age of internet communication. There is a reason most universities have DSOs and international student services whose job is to provide information to international students entering their university. The I-20 issued by the university and the clear directions from USCIS are to contact the university and report to the international students office as soon as you arrive in the city. If you don’t, then it the required of the DSO of the university to inform the USCIS of this lapse. All of this is clearly mentioned in various forms and communication with the university admissions and international student services as well as the Indian student association (Texas state univ at San Marcos has one too). We knew how to do this 20 years ago and I don’t understand how people still do not know these basics.
