    Very true. I go to America and Canada to meet my children. For older people day start with cleaning utensils, cooking food, washing and cleaning home. And no social life for older people. Very costly everything. No friends,very lonely life. Children have their careers, life so they r helpless. My son in America provides us with all luxuries but very boring after some time. Love my life in my home, my country. I have my social life and love it.

    It is very heartening to know that the craze of the west (specially US & Canada) is waning and we have a comparison where India wins on many fronts.

    • @LuckyBombay
      @LuckyBombay ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bro, 1.5 million students left India last year … if anything the craze of west is very very high .. Canada sucks a lot in the western world but goto USA and life is jhingalala… even Indian food is lot better in foreign countries … it’s just Canada that sucks … some of the best Indian food I have eaten is in Dubai … London also has great Indian restaurants… and at the end of the day the best thing abt western countries is that you are away from desigiri, cheap work politics . FYI , I myself live in USA … The only reason I visit India is to meet friends and family … by third week I start missing America and am always just so happy coming back home ( to America ) … and trust me I myself am a very Desi person but it’s just that This is just a better place … and I am not alone a lot of ppl here think like me … even people from other countries think like that

    • @pushpeshsuman
      @pushpeshsuman ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LuckyBombay I agree to all your points and US being developed for so long it has a better system in place.
      But the infrastructure and opportunities are not everything in the world for settling down.
      In India there are a lot of struggles but life is also about being with friends and family ( if it does matter) rather than only with money.
      Canada was equally an amazing place to live till very recently and now the narrative has changed. Almost similar situations exist in USA but the narrative has not changed yet.

    • @LuckyBombay
      @LuckyBombay ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@pushpeshsuman Canada is not a big country . Only two big metro areas where everyone wants to go . Also in the last few years., Canada gave Pr to a large number of ppl and the quality of these immigrants is not good .. they have no skill sets , have weird degrees and all of them have come thinking life will be good .. likewise these immigrants are not able to find jobs and have started dissing Canada and that’s why the narrative has gotten bad … Canada’s brainless immigration policy is to be blamed … most people who qualify for PR is Canada will not even qualify for getting an H1b visa in America … the quality of legal immigrants to America is just on another level compared to Canada … also we have a large number of illegal immigration in America … this helps is by providing cheap labor ( comparatively speaking but nowhere close to cheap labor of India ) … in Canada they hardly have immigration of labor class people … everyone wants to do a white collar job , ends up with a labor class job and then cribs … obviously, cause they gave the PR to the wrong class of people … abt having friends and family in India .. true .. but in cities atleast even they are super busy and if a person is not making good money then what will this extended family do for him ? He will be sad .. people who are doing well never leave the country … only people who have needs will leave

    Views expressed by Manpreet,s mother is similar to the views of most parents who go abroad to their children even for a short time. We then value the warmth and social contacts we cherish in India, the independence we get doing our work without being dependent on the children to take us, Even the lady guest expressed many views that are so correct. We need just a handful of clothes as always we are covered in warm clothes.

    I’m sorry about the negative experience of these ladies. Most young children bring their parents for housekeeping and babysitting. Once the children are in school they are on their own. Sounds like they shop at low end stores. Farmers Markets exist in all communities city wide. Specialty stores have food from all countries as do restaurants and same is with clothing! You can call a cab any time! Don’t blame Canada for lack of social life it is what you want and do! There are resources available everywhere including volunteering and making friends. 🇨🇦

    भाई, मैं North Carolina, USA से आपके विडियो देखता हूं। मैं दावे से कह सकता हूं कि भारत विश्व का सबसे अच्छा देश है। भारत में कुछ मुस्लिमों, मौलवियों ने माहौल खराब किया हुआ है। कुछ नेता वोटों के कारण जातिवाद का जहर घोलते रहते हैं। भारत के समस्त त्यौहार, संस्कृति, भोजन, भाषाओं आदि के जनक ॠषि थे जिन्होंने हमारे देश की नींव रखी थी। मुगलों और अंग्रेजों ने भारत की संस्कृति दूषित कर दी परन्तु अभी भी हमारे देश भारत का कोई सानी नहीं है। आपके पोडकास्ट के लिए साधुवाद। जय हिन्द, जय भारत।

Although later i hv been to canada and UK several times as long term visitor. I hv so many other reservations about these two countries especially related to its future after 20 yrs because of their liberal policies on refugees and asylum seekers. Their economy is going down and down. In comparison Australia seems to be a younger country with good climate round the year with good prospects

    Forget parents, even many immigrants are unhappy in Canada. Every time I run into an Indian who has studied or lived in US he is frustrated. 2 people in my team received their Canadian citizenship and have started trying for positions in US. 3 white Canadians in our company moved to US in last 2 year itself.
    Canada is not a great country from parents. It's cold, white and depressing throughout. Many parents can stay for relatively longer in California or Texas where there is vibrant community and weather is very much like India. I lived for 10 years of life in snow before moving to Canada - Massachusetts, North Carolina and Virginia. I just 2 winters, I feel depressed in Canada as it's white for 4 to 5 months.

Best of luck, and please continue this great work! ❤️❤️❤️ I'm waiting for your update about this channel on the vlogging channel. It's been a while since you introduced it there, and I believe more people would come here if they knew about it.
    I have one suggestion though regarding the setup: The Candid Cast Logo on the second stand is not very visible because the mics are in front of it. Perhaps you could try adjusting it somewhere more prominently, where it can be clearly seen. 😊😊

    They wondered & said people go there after selling house & landed property etc. I replied "they are idiots in my opinion".
    Sir second time I went in the year 2009. Stayed there for six months & sirji my opinion cemented those who get enough to eat here, "should not go there".

    One of things that I learnt 33 years ago when I moved to USA was not to convert the money because you won’t be able to eat. I sponsored my mother almost 20 years ago and she didn’t enjoy living here because of her life and friends back home. It was very difficult to move here especially when you are in your fifties and especially if you aren’t working. One of the things that aunties are exaggerating is about the cost of the restaurant, I have never eaten in a restaurant that cost $400 for 4 people, even some of the best steak restaurants don’t cost that much. Final thing when they compare the Malls of Canada with India with limited supplies actually the malls here carry sizes that are not even available anywhere in the World. I do respect their views.
