I'm gonna it as "more evilish". Even though there's some pretty heroic lines, but the most do have that kind of sinister tone. As the bonus - the drums are more loud. Dunno why, but i FREAKIN' LIKE IT. But y'know, some noises in the chorus and low quality of "OPEN YOUR HEART, DUUUUUDE" makes this recreation a lot worses that it could be. But i can live with that!
Yeah, its unfortunate that there isn't a good way to rip the vocals. Unfortunately, the best upload of the track has a bunch of talking over it, so regardless of what you do, there's gonna be artifacts. On a side note, I absolutely love the direction of the version, The vocals almost sound like a ghost, and I think it's cool as hell. Granted, I'll fully admit my love is partially because of bias. This was the first version of Open Your Heart that I heard, and it still sticks with me as a result.
Trust me I love it too lol. I honestly wish they could have done something similar with Gioeli's version. The instrumental kinda feels empty without it imo.
this entire mod actually looks very promising, so keep up the excellent work! very excited for the release of SA1 Beta Lighting in two days, and it's gonna be really fun revisiting all the locations and seeing how different and more detailed the lighting in the prerelease promo materials and trailers looked compared to the final. to sum it all up, this is looking really good, and an especially big thanks to you for working on this huge project!

@@scfofficial A version 5 couldn't hurt. I'd even be willing to send you a google drive link to the vocals from this mix if it's of use to you. The other thing I'll say is that I highly encourage trying to find someway to get a clean rip of the 2009 version's instrumental. I've noticed that the drum track and mixing are near identical to the demo mix from SEGA's old website, and it even has the missing bass guitar track from that version too.
